Abstract

Pohon surya adalah PLTS bersistem off-grid yang panel surya nya di pasang sedemikian rupa membentuk seperti pohon dimana panel surya terletak diatas dan terhubung dengan tiang pancang sedangkan MPPT dan baterai diletakkan di bawah. Pohon surya ini digunakan untuk penerangan jalan umum yang jauh dari jangkauan listrik. Monitoring pohon surya sangat perlu untuk kelangsungan keberadaan pohon surya tersebut. Setiap bagian mulai dari panel surya, baterai, beban lampu ada baiknya dapat di Monitoring secara real time. Adapun sarana monitoringnya menggunakan jaringan TCP/IP yang terhubung perangkat access point untuk monitoring dengan jangkauan yang cukup jauh. Peletakan posisi pohon surya dan jumlah jam efektif matahari sangatlah berperan penting dalam proses konversi energi nya. Selain itu pengaturan pemakaian beban juga perlu diperhatikan , sehingga apabila terjadi lampu PJU padam maka kita dapat mengetahui penyebab nya mulai dari perangkat kerasnya hingga pengisian baterainya. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan pohon surya milik Univeritas Brawijaya yang menggunakan panel surya berkapasitas 600Wp, baterai 100Ah 4 buah, lampu 50 Watt 2 buah. Dari hasil monitoring menunjukkan jumlah energi yang dihasilkan oleh pohon surya sebesar 10.40 kWh sedangkan menurut perhitungan jika panel surya dihadapkan satu arah mata angin dengan kapasitas yang sama akan dihasilkan energi sebesar 32,6 kWh.

English Abstract

Solar tree is applying off-grid solar power that its solar panels installed in such a way to form like a tree which is located above the solar panels and connected with the pile while MPPT and battery is placed under. The solar tree is used for street lighting that have long distance with the electricity. Monitoring solar tree is very necessary for the sustainability of the solar tree. Each section ranging from solar panels, batteries, light load it is better able in the monitoring in real time. As a means of monitoring the network using TCP / IP-connected device is an access point for monitoring to reach far enough. Laying of the solar tree position and the number of effective hours of sun is very important in the process of converting its energy. Besides setting the load consumption also need to be considered, so that in case the lights go out PJU then we can know its causes ranging from hardware to charging the batteries In this study using solar tree belongs Univeritas Brawijaya that uses solar panels with a capacity of 600Wp, 100Ah batteries 4 pieces, lamp 50 Watt 2 pieces. From the results of the monitoring showed the amount of energy generated by the solar tree at 10:40 kWh whereas according to calculations if the solar panels faced the direction of the wind with the same capacity will be generated an energy of 32.6 kWh.
