Abstract
Masa emas perkembangan anak terjadi pada usia pra sekolah. Pada usia setengah tahun sampai 3 tahun anak mulai memiliki kepekaan bahasa dan merupakan waktu yang tepat untuk menstimulasi perkembangan bahasanya. Pendidikan anak usia dini yang efektif sangat bermanfaat untuk membangun struktur perkembangan bahasa anak. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan pendidikan anak usia dini dalam bentuk kelompok bermain dengan perkembangan bahasa anak usia pra sekolah (4-6 tahun) di desa yosorati kabupaten jember. Metode yang digunakan adalah observational analitik dengan pendekatan case-control pada 100 responden dengan menggunakan skrining perkembangan Denver II. Teknik pemilihan sampel dengan metode purposive sampling. Berdasarkan uji Chi-square dengan α <0,05 diketahui bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara pendidikan anak usia dini dengan perkembangan bahasa anak usia pra sekolah dengan hasil p value=0,000 dan odd ratio (OR)=50,4. Perkembangan bahasa anak harus distimulasi agar dapat berkembang dengan optimal. Penting bagi orang tua untuk mengetahui peranan pendidikan anak usia dini untuk memberikan stimulasi yang tepat bagi perkembangan anak.
English Abstract
The golden age of child development happens at pre-school age which at the age of a half years old to 3 years old start to have a language sensitivity and it is the right rime to stimulate their language development. The child development must be stimulated in order to optimize the development. An effective early childhood education is very useful to build language development structure. The purpose of this research was to know the correlation between early childhood education in playgroup with language development of pre-school aged children (4-6 years old) in yosorati jember regency. The method was analytic descriptive with case-control approach done to 100 respondents in may 2014 with Denver II screening development. The samples were chosen by using purposive sampling method. Based on chi-square test with α <0,05 showed that there was a significant correlation between early childhood education with language development of pre-school aged children with p value=0,000 and odd ratio(OR)=50,4. The early early childhood education determine language development of pre-school aged children. So that, it’s important for parents to know that early childhood education is important to stimulate their child development.
