Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dan membuktikan secara empiris pengaruh langsung dari orientasi kepemimpinan, budaya organisasi, dan kepuasan kerja pegawai terhadap kinerja pegawai, pengaruh langsung orientasi kepemimpinan dan budaya organisasi terhadap kepuasan kerja pegawai, serta pengaruh orientasi kepemimpinan dan budaya organisasi secara tidak langsung melalui mediasi kepuasan kerja pegawai terhadap kinerja pegawai. Secara teoritis, hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan sumbangan dalam pengembangan ilmu manajemen sumberdaya manusia dan perilaku organisasi sehingga dapat memberikan manfaat pada akademisi dan praktisi. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi adalah Pegawai Negeri Sipil (PNS) di kantor Bappeda Provinsi Papua pada tingkatan eselon III, eselon IV, fungsional peneliti, dan staf. Penelitian ini merupakan studi sensus dengan total sampel sebanyak 144 orang. Metode analisis Partial Least Square(PLS) dengan aplikasi SmartPLS 3.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh secara langsung orientasi kepemimpinan, budaya organisasi, dan kepuasan kerja pegawai terhadap kinerja pegawai serta pengaruh secara langsung orientasi kepemimpinan dan budaya organisasi terhadap kepuasan kerja pegawai adalah signifikan. Kepuasan kerja pegawai terbukti memediasi pengaruh budaya organisasi terhadap kinerja pegawai. Sedangkan, peran kepuasan kerja pegawai sebagai mediasi pengaruh orientasi kepemimpinan terhadap kinerja pegawai tidak terbukti signifikan. Budaya organisasi memiliki pengaruh yang terbesar terhadap kinerja pegawai, kemudian diikuti oleh kepuasan kerja pegawai dan orientasi kepemimpinan.
English Abstract
The objective of this study is to empirically assess and prove the direct influence of leadership orientation, organizational culture, and employee satisfaction on employee performance, the direct influence of leadership orientation and organizational culture on employee performance, and the influence of leadership orientation and organizational culture on employee performance mediated by employee satisfaction. Theoretically, this study is expected to contribute to human resource management and organizational behavior science, which in turn can benefit academics and practitioners. The population of this quantitative approach is third and fourth echelon employees, researchers, and staff who work in Development Planning Agency of Papua. Using census technique, this study has selected 144 employees as the sample. The analysis is conducted using Partial Least Square method in SmartPLS 3.0. The results of the research indicate the direct influence of leadership orientation, cultural organization, and employee satisfaction on employee performance and the direct influence of leadership orientation and organizational culture on employee satisfaction. Further, employee satisfaction is proven mediate the influence of organizational culture on employee performance. Meanwhile, the role of employee satisfaction in mediating the influence of leadership orientation on employee performance is insignificant. Organizational culture has a biggest influence on employee performance, followed by employee satisfaction and leadership orientation.
