Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menjelaskan pengaruh variabel employee engagement (X) terhadap organizational citizenship behavior (Y1) dan pengaruh variabel employee engagement terhadap kepuasan kerja (Y2) Jenis penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah explanatory research dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sampel yang diambil sebanyak 44 karyawan Hotel Dewarna Sutoyo Malang. Nilai yang diperoleh dari analisis regresi sederhana menunjukkan pengaruh variabel employee engagement (X) terhadap organizational citizenship behavior (Y1) memiliki koefisien beta 0,702 sebesar dengan signifikansi 0,000. Variabel employee engagement (X) terhadap kepuasan kerja (Y2) memiliki koefisien beta sebesar 0,201 dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000. Saran yang diberikan penulis kepada perusahaan adalah sebaiknya pihak perusahaan mempertahankan tingkat employee engagement yang dimiliki karyawan. Beberapa usaha yang dapat dilakukan adalah terus memberikan motivasi dan semangat kepada bawahan, memahami masalah dan keluhan bawahan, dan melakukan pendekatan secara personal dengan bawahan. Peneliti berharap hasil penelitian ini dapat dijadikan acuan untuk Hotel Dewarna Sutoyo Malang dalam mempertahankan dan meningkatkan employee engagement karyawan
English Abstract
The objective of research is to describe and explain the significant influence of variable employee engagement (X), on organizational citizenship behavior (Y1), knowing employee engagement on job satisfaction (Y2). Research type is explanatory research with quantitative approach. Sampling studied were 44 employees of Hotel Dewarna Sutoyo Malang. Data analysis uses descriptive analysis and linear regression support by SPSS for windows ver 16.00. The value has already got from linear regression analysis so that variable employee engagement (X) on organizational cirtizenship behavior (Y1) has beta coefficient amount 0,702 with significant 0,000. Variable employee engagement (X) on job satisfaction (Y2) has beta coefficient amount 0,201 with significant 0,000. Advice that given by author for the company is the company should maintain and improve employee engagement. Some efforts that can be done are to keep giving motivation and spirit to employees, listen and understand employee’s problems, doing personal approach to employees. This research can be used as a reference for Hotel Dewarna Sutoyo Malang in order to improve employee engagement.
