Abstract
Mengetahui korelasi antara ekspressi Lp-PLA2 (Lipoproteinassociated phospholipase A2) dengan kadar TC (Kolesterol Total) pada populasi risiko aterosklerosis. Metode: Penelitian deskriptif analitik korelasional pada populasi dengan risiko aterosklerosis. Pengambilan total sampling dengan responden sejumlah 150 orang diambil sample darah vena yang kemudian diukur menggunakan ELISA untuk parameter Lp-PLA2 dan Spektrofotometri untuk parameter TC. Hasil: terdapat korelasi kuat yang signifikan antara ekspresi Lp-PLA2 dan kadar TC dengan nilai p=0,000 (p sig jika <0,05) dan koefisien korelasi adalah 0,502 yang bertanda positif. Antara ekspresi Lp-PLA2 dan kadar TC terdapat hubungan yang sigifikan terhadap karakteristik responden pada 5 dari 7 kriteria responden dengan signifikansi p<0,05. Kesimpulan: Peningkatan konsentrasi Lp-PLA2 berkorelasi dengan peningkatan kadar TC pada populasi kondisi dengan aterosklerosis.
English Abstract
To determine the correlation of lipoprotein-associated phospholipase A2 (Lp-PLA2) concentration and TC level in the atherosclerosis risk population. Method: The study used correlational analysis method. Venous blood sample was taken from 150 individuals in the risk population with total sampling technique. Blood sample was measured by ELISA method with Lp- PLA2 and TC by spectrophotometry as parameters. Analysis of Lp-PLA2 and TC data in every group was done using Kolmogorov-Smirnov and Shapiro-Wilk normality test, one way ANOVA, and Spearman test for correlational analysis between the two groups. Results: Lp-PLA2 concentration have significant positive correlation with TC level (sig<0.05) and made coefficeient correlation is 0,502 and positive. There is a significant correlation between characteristics of atherosclerosis respondent with Lp-PLA2 and TC. Conclusion: There is a positive correlation between Lp-PLA2 concentration and TC levels in the atherosclerosis risk population.
