Umam, Khoirul (2019) Pengaruh Penggunaan Kulit Ari Kedelai dalam Ransum Terhadap Produksi Kelinci Peranakan New Zealand White Jantan Lepas Sapih. Sarjana thesis, Universitas Brawijaya.
Abstract
Kedawung IV No. 1 Kota Malang, 65141. Data dianalisis ragam menggunakan Analisis of Varian (ANOVA).
English Abstract
Increasing public awareness of the need for animal protein demands the availability of animal protein sources. Therefore it is necessary to diversify the supply of animal protein in addition to large livestock and poultry. One alternative provider of meat to encourage the diversification of food sources from livestock is rabbits. Feed is one of the determinants of success in livestock business. According to the Department of Horticulture and Plantation Food, Malang Regency, the level of consumption of soybean products since 2012 until 2017, the average annual consumption of soybeans in Malang Regency reached 44,683 tons per year. Tempeh waste is the husk of soybeans which can be used for animal feed. The availability of tempeh pulp is quite a lot and has not been widely used. The purpose of this study was to find out and study the effect of adding soybean husk on feed consumption, body weight gain, and feed conversion on the performance of the New Zealend White crossed rabbit. this research was conducted from January 2019 to February 2019. The research location was on Kedawung IV street, No. 1, Malang City, Zip. 65141, in the residence of our research colleague Sukma Putih Andini. The research material was 20 New Zealand White crossed rabbits weaning male aged 35-45 days with an average weight of 641.45±20.07. This research method is a randomized complete design (CRD) consisting of 4 treatments and 5 replications. Data were Analyzed of Variance (ANOVA). If a significant difference is obtained (P <0.05) then it is followed by Duncan's double distance test. The variables observed during the study were feed consumption, body weight gain, and feed conversion. The results of the study showed that there were no significant differences (P> 0.05) on feed consumption against the treatment. Body weight gain based on observations obtained was not significantly different (P> 0.05). The results of the feed conversion observed showed not significant difference (P> 0.05) The conclusion of this study is the use of soybean husk to the level of 15% has not caused a negative impact on the productivity of new zealand rabbits.
