Abstract
Anak prasekolah adalah pribadi yang mempunyai berbagai macam potensi. Umumnya anak pada usia ini mulai memasuki awal prasekolah dan kindergarten. Salah satu permasalahan yang harus dihadapi orang tua pada masa ini adalah kecemasan berpisah (separation anxiety). Dukungan orang tua sangat dibutuhkan dalam mengatasi masalah ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan dukungan orang tua dengan tingkat kecemasan berpisah (separation anxiety) pada masa adaptasi sekolah TK menggunakan desain deskripsi correlational dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Teknik sampling yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah purposive sampling, dengan besar sampel penelitian 64 orang yaitu orang tua dan anak yang sedang mengalami masa adaptasi sekolah di TK Plus Al-Ikhlas Pucung Kidul Tulungagung. Berdasarkan analisa statistik Spearmen Rank dengan tingkat kemaknaan p < 0,05 terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara dukungan orang tua dengan tingkat kecemasan berpisah (separation anxiety) pada masa daptasi sekolah di TK Plus Al-Ikhlas Pucung Kidul Tulungagung dengan nilai signifikansi 0,018. Nilai korelasi diperoleh -0,296 sehingga menunjukkan arah korelasi negatif dengan tingkat korelasi lemah. Dengan kata lain semakin baik dukungan orang tua semakin rendah tingkat kecemasan berpisah pada masa adaptasi sekolah di TK Plus Al-Ikhlas Pucung Kidul Tulungagung. Sehingga disarankan bagi orang tua untuk meningkatkan dukungan agar anak lebih siap menghadapi masa adapatasi sekolah dan tidak mengalami kecemasan berpisah.
English Abstract
Preschool child is the one which has a wide range of potentials . Generally, children at this age begin entering early preschool and kindergarten . One of the problems that must be faced by the parents in times is separation anxiety. Parent support is needed to overcome this problem. This research aimed to determine the correlation between support parental separation anxiety with level of separation anxiety during school adaptation, using the description correlational design with cross sectional approach . The technique used in this reaserch was purposive sampling , and took 64 of parents and children who have school adaptation experience at TK Plus Al - Ikhlas Pucung Kidul Tulungagung . Data was analyzed by Spearmen test with level of confidence p < 0,05 and have correlation between both variable with significance level 0,018. The Correlation value was -0,296 indicated that negative correlation with weak correlation level. Meanwhile in other words, the better parents support was decreased level of separation anxiety during school adaptation at TK Plus Al-Ikhlas Pucung Kidul Tulungagung. It is suggested that parents should provide best support for children to decrease level of separation anxiety.
