Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menjelaskan tentang keadaan motivasi dan kinerja di PT. Elsiscom Prima Karya, mengetahui dan menjelaskan bagaimanakah pengaruh variabel motivasi secara simultan dan parsial terhadap kinerja karyawan, serta variabel yang berpengaruh dominan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Berdasarkan tujuan dari penulisan yaitu untuk mencari pengaruh antar variabel maka penelitian ini menggunakan metode explanatory research serta menggunakan kuesioner sebagai alat pengumpulan data. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah karyawan PT. Elsiscom Prima Karya Sebanyak 58 orang, dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan Sampel Jenuh. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis statistik deskriptif untuk memberikan gambaran karakteristik responden serta menyusun distribusi item jawaban kuesioner, dan analisis statistik inferensial menggunakan uji F dan uji t. Dalam menganalisis digunakan program SPSS versi 15 for Windows. Hasil analisis statistik inferensial untuk pengujian secara simultan menunjukkan bahwa variabel kebutuhan eksistensi, kebutuhan hubungan sosial dan kebutuhan pertumbuhan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap variabel kinerja karyawan yang diketahui dari nilai uji F dengan nilai Fhitung 24,154 dan dengan tingkat signifikansi 0,000 (P<0,05), dari ketiga variabel, dapat diketahui bahwa variabel kebutuhan eksistensi mempunyai nilai beta tertinggi 0,501 dibandingan dengan variabel lain. Hal ini berarti bahwa variabel kebutuhan eksistensi merupakan variabel yang dominan mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan. Berdasarkan pada hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara variabel kebutuhan eksistensi (X1), kebutuhan hubungan sosial (X2), dan kebutuhan pertumbuhan (X3) terhadap kinerja karyawan (Y) baik secara simultan maupun parsial.

English Abstract

This study aims to identify and explain about the condition of motivation and employee performance in PT. Elsiscom Prima Karya, identify and explain about how the motivational variables simultaneously and partially influence the employee performance, as well as the dominant variables that influence the employee performance. Based on the purpose of this study which is to seek the influence among variables, this study uses an explanatory research methods and using questionaires as a data collecting tool. The population in this study were all employees of PT. Elsiscom Prima Karya in total of 58 people, sampling technique used in this research is the Saturated Samples technique. Data analysis is a descriptive statistical analysis which used to provide an overview of the respondents characteristics and to arrange distribution of the questionnaire answers from each variable, and inferential statistical analysis using the F and the t test. To analyzes the data, SPSS version 15 for Windows is used in this research. The results of inferential statistical analysis for simultaneous testing indicates that the variable needs of existence, needs for social relationship and needs for growth significantly influence on the dependent variable which is the employee performance, which can be known from the F test value, Fcount is 24.154 and with a significance level of 0.000 (P <0.05). from the three variables, it can be seen that the variable needs of existence has the highest beta value of 0.501 compared to the other variables. This means that the variable needs of existence is dominant variable influencing the employees performance. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between the variable needs of existence (X1), the need for social relationships (X2), and the need for growth (X3) on the employee performance (Y) either simultaneously or partially.
