Abstract
Penelitian ini dilakukan di PT Gresik Cipta Sejahtera Kota Gresik, dengan tujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh langsung kompensasi terhadap komitmen organisasional, pengaruh kompensasi terhadap kepuasan kerja, pengaruh kepuasan kerja terhadap komitmen organisasional, serta pengaruh tidak langsung kompensasi terhadap komitmen organisasional melalui kepuasan kerja.Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah explanatory research. Jumlah karyawan di PT Gresik Cipta Sejahtera adalah 70 orang, karena jumlah populasinya kecil maka seluruh karyawan tersebut dijadikan sebagai responden. Alat pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner dengan 5 skala likert. Sedangkan analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis data deskriptif dan analisis Partial Least Square (PLS). Hasil penelitian ini adalah: (1) Kompensasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Komitmen Organisasional, (2) Kompensasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Kepuasan Kerja karyawan, (3) Kepuasan Kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Komitmen Organisasional, (4) Kompensasi berpengaruh secara tidak langsung terhadap Komitmen Organisaisonal melalui Kepuasan Kerja.
English Abstract
This research was conducted at PT. Gresik Cipta Sejahtera, Gresik City aiming to analyze the direct effect of compensation on organizational commitment, the direct effect of compensation on job satisfaction, the direct effect of job satisfaction on organizational commitment, and the indirect effect of compensation on organizational commitment through job satisfaction. The research design is explanatory research. The number of PT. Gresik Cipta Sejahtera is 70 employees; since the population is a few, all of the employees were involved as the research respondents. The data collection tools of this research is questionnaire 5 in Likert scale. In addition, the data analysis utilized descriptive analysis and Partial Least Square (PLS) analysis. The results demonstrate that: (1) compensation has significant effect on organizational commitment, (2) compensation significantly influences employee job satisfaction, (3) job satisfaction significantly affects organizational commitment, and (4) compensation indirectly and significantly influences organizational commitment through job satisfaction.
