Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kebutuhan afiliasi mahasiswa terhadap penggunaan media sosial LINE@ organisasi kampus Badan Eksekutif Mahasiswa Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Brawijaya (BEM FEB UB). Pengaruh yang ingin diketahui adalah pengaruh secara langsung. Jenis penelitian ini adalah explanatory research yang menjelaskan hubungan kausal antara variabel-variabel melalui pengujian hipotesis. Penelitian ini menggunakan sampel sebanyak 90 responden. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan karakteristik responden pernah/sedang menggunakan media sosial LINE@ organisasi kampus BEM FEB UB minimal satu semester dan pernah berinteraksi saat melihat media sosial LINE@ organisasi kampus BEM FEB UB. Analisa data dalam pengujian instrumen menggunakan software SPSS versi 23 dengan menggunakan analisis regresi sederhana. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa kebutuhan afiliasi mahasiswa berpengaruh secara langsung dan signifikan terhadap penggunaan media sosial LINE@ organisasi kampus Badan Eksekutif Mahasiswa Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Brawijaya (BEM FEB UB).
English Abstract
This study aims to determine the influence of student affiliation needs on the use of social media LINE@ organization campus student executive board of Faculty of Economics and Business University of Brawijaya (BEM FEB UB). This type of research is explanatory research that explains the causal relationship between the variables through hypothesis testing. This research used a sample of 90 respondents. This research using purposive sampling technique with the characteristics of respondents ever / are using social media LINE @ campus organization BEM FEB UB at least one semester and had interaction when viewing social media LINE @ campus organization BEM FEB UB. Data analysis in instrument testing using SPSS software version 23 using a simple regression analysis. The results obtained show that the student affiliation needs directly and significantly influence the use of social media LINE @ campus organization Student Executive Board of Faculty of Economics and Business University of Brawijaya (BEM FEB UB).
