Abstract
Dinding bata merupakan suatu komponen bangunan yang berbentuk bidang vertikal yang berguna untuk membagi atau membatasi suatu ruang dengan ruang lain. Dinding dapat hanya berfungsi sebagai pembatas dan dapat pula berfungsi sebagai komponen struktural. Meskipun telah dipahami oleh banyak orang bahwa dinding bata berpengaruh terhadap kekuatan struktur bangunan namun kekuatan dinding bata tetap saja diabaikan dan dalam kenyataannya pekerjaan dinding bata pada rumah tinggal sederhana di lapangan belum sesuai dengan persyaratan teknis yang ada. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei lapangan dengan melihat persyaratan teknis untuk pemasangan dinding bata. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui perbandingan antara pekerjaan teknis dinding bata di lapangan dengan persyaratan teknis dinding bata yang berlaku pada rumah tinggal sederhana dan kajian rumah tinggal sederhana apabila persyaratan teknis dinding bata tidak terpenuhi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pada rumah tinggal sederhana di Kota Malang belum sesuai dengan Pedoman Teknis Rumah dan Bangunan Gedung Tahan Gempa. Dari survei diperoleh rata-rata persentase penyimpangan terhadap pedoman pada survei pertama sebesar 34,77%, pada survei kedua sebesar 33,27%, pada survei ketiga sebesar 37,90% sedangkan pada survei keempat diperoleh persentase sebesar 30,56%. Kajian apabila persyaratan tidak terpenuhi maka struktur bangunan belum cukup kuat menerima gaya gempa sehingga memungkinkan adanya kerusakan pada dinding dan keruntuhan bangunan.
English Abstract
Brick masonry wall is component vertical of building which useful to divide one room with other room. Function of brick masonry wall can be as separate component and as component structural. Although it has been understood by many people that the brick masonry wall has an effect on the strength of the building structure but the strength of the brick masonry wall remain neglected and in reality the technical work of brick masonry wall at non engineering building is not accordance with the technical requirements. This research uses survey method by looking at the technical requirements for the installation of brick masonry wall. The purpose of this study is to know the comparison between the technical work of brick masonry wall in actually with the technical requirements of brick masonry wall that apply in non engineering building and study of non engineering building if the technical requirements are not met. The results of this study indicate that in a non engineering building in Malang has not been in accordance with the Guidelines Technical House and Earthquake Resistant Building. From the survey, the average percentage of deviations from the guidelines in the first survey was 34.77%, the second survey was 33.27%, the third survey was 37.90%, and then the fourth survey it was 30.56%. Review if the requirements are not met so the structure of the building has not been strong enough to accept the force of the earthquake so there was damage of the brick masonry wall and collapse of buildings.
