Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh disiplin kerja dan lingkungan kerja fisik terhadap kinerja karyawan melalui motivasi kerja sebagai variabel interveningnya pada Dinas Sosial Kota Batu. Metode penelitian yang dingunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Data yang diperoleh menggunakan kuesioner. Jumlah populasi dan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik sensus yakni sebanyak 35 orang yaitu seluruh karyawan Dinas Sosial Kota Batu. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji analisis jalur. dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) Disiplin kerja secara langsung berpengaruh signifikan terhadap motivasi kerja, (2) Lingkungan Kerja Fisik secara langsung berpengaruh signifikan terhadap motivasi kerja, (3) Disiplin Kerja secara langsung berpengaruh signifikan Terhadap Kinerja, (4)Lingkungan Kerja Fisik secara langsung berpengaruh terhadap signifikan Kinerja, (5)Motivasi Kerja secara langsung berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Kinerja, (6) Disiplin Kerja dan Lingkungan Kerja Fisik berpengaruh secara tidak langsung terhadap Kinerja melalui Motivasi Kerja

English Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of working discipline and physical working environment on the performance of Social Service employees of Batucity with working motivation as the intervening variable. The data of this quantitative research were obtained through questionnaire. Using census technique,the population and the sample of this study is all 35 employees of Social Service of Batucity. The hypothesis testing is done using path analysis. The results ofthis research indicate that (1) working discipline directly and significantly influences working motivation, (2) physical working environment directly influences working motivation, (3) working discipline directly influences performance, (4) physical working environment directly and significantly influences performance, (5) working motivation directly influences performance, and (6) working discipline and physical working environment indirectly influence performance through working motivation.
