Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh social media marketing efforts terhadap brand equity. Variabel independen yang diuji dalam penelitian ini adalah entertainment, interaction, trendiness, customization dan word of mouth yang diuji pengaruhnya terhadap brand equity pada pengakses akun Instagram Mie Setan @MieSetan di kota Malang. Dalam penelitian ini, yang menjadi populasi penelitian adalah pengguna internet yang mengakses akun Instagram @MieSetan yang berdomisili di kota Malang. Jumlah Responden dalam penelitian ini ditetapkan sebanyak 200 responden yang dipilih menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis menggunakan regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel-variabel entertainment, interaction, trendiness, customization dan word of mouth berpengaruh signifikan terhadap brand equity.
English Abstract
This research aims to examine the influence of social media marketing efforts on brand equity. The independent variables of this study are entertainment, interaction, trendiness, customization, and word of mouth, of which the influence on brand equity are measured. The population of this research is internet users living in Malang city who access @MieSetan account. Using purposive sampling method, this study has selected 200 respondents. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results show, that entertainment, interaction, trendiness, customization, and word of mouth, significantly influence brand equity.
