Abstract

Latar belakang dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh Persepsi Dukungan Organisasi dan Employee Engagement terhadap Turnover Intention pada Rumah Sakit Islam (UNISMA) Malang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menjelaskan pengaruh variabel persepsi dukungan organisasi (X) terhadap variabel employee engagement (Z), mengetahui dan menjelaskan pengaruh variabel employee engaement (Z) terhadap variabel turnover intention (Y), mengetahui dan menjelaskan pengaruh variabel persepsi dukungan organisasi (X) terhadap variabel turnover intention (Y) serta mengetahui dan menjelaskan pengaruh variabel persepsi dukungan organisasi (X) terhadap variabel turnover intention (Y) melalui employee engagement sebagai variabel intervening. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian penjelasan (explanatory research) dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh divisi pada Rumah Sakit Islam (UNISMA) Malang dengan jumlah 366 karyawan. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah proportional random sampling dengan menggunakan rumus Isaac dan Michael sehingga didapat jumlah sampel sebesar 158 karyawan. Penelitian ini menggunakan uji asumsi klasik, analisis jalur (path analysis) dan pengujian hipotesis yang dalam pengerjaannya menggunakan program SPSS 21 untuk uji asumsi klasik dan Smart-PSL 2.0 untuk analisis jalur. Berdasarkan dari hasil penelitian, diketahui bahwa variabel persepsi dukungan organisasi (X) mempunyai pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap variabel employee engagement (Z) sebesar 0,349. Variabel employee engagement (Z) mempunyai pengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap variabel turnover intention (Y) sebesar -0,185. Variabel persepsi dukungan organisasi (X) mempunyai pengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap variabel turnover intention (Y) sebesar - 0,338. Variabel persepsi dukungan organisasi (X) mempunyai pengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap variabel turnover intention melalui employee engagement sebagai variabel intervening sebesar -0,065. Hasil koefisien determinasi total (Rm2) sebesar 0,290 mengindikasikan bahwa model jalur yang terbentuk mampu menjelaskan sekitar 29,0% variansi data penelitian.

English Abstract

This study intends to identify the Influence of Perception Organization Support and Employee Engagement towards Turnover Intention in Islamic Hospital (UNISMA) in Malang. The objective is to find out and explicate the influence of variables X (perception organization support) towards variable Z (employee engagement), the influence of variable Z (employee engagement) towards the variable Y (turnover intention), the influence of variable X (perception organization support) towards variable Y (turnover intention) as well as the influence of variable X (perception organization support) towards variable Y (turnover intention) through variable Z (employee engagement) as intervening variable. This research implemented explanatory research design with quantitative approach. The population of this research is the whole divisions in Islamic Hospital (UNISMA), with the total employee of 336 persons. The sampling technique used is proportional random sampling by applying Isaac and Michael formula that decrease the amount of sample into 158 employees. This study used classic assumption test, path analysis, and hypothesis test that was processed in SPSS 21 program (for classic assumption test ) and Smart-PSL 2.0 for path analysis. Based on the findings of this research, it was discovered that the variable X (perception organization support) positively and significantly influence variable Z (employee engagement) as much as 0.349. Meanwhile, variable Z (employee engagement) has negative and significant effect towards variable Y (turnover intention) proved by the value of -0.185. Variable X (perception organization support) contributes negative and significant influence towards variable Y (turnover intention) with the value of -0.338. Similarly, variable X (perception organization support) contributes negative and significant influence towards variable Y (turnover intention) through variable Z (employee engagement) as intervening variable with the value of -0,065. The value of total determination coefficient (Rm2) is 0.290 which indicates that the constructed pathway model could verify about 29.0% variance of research data.
