Abstract

Faktor sumber daya manusia merupakan aset yang paling penting untuk menentukan sukses tidaknya suatu organisasi. Tanpa peran sumber daya manusia organisasi tidak akan berjalan dengan baik. Proses untuk menghasilkan sumber daya manusia harus didukung dengan kecerdasan emosional yang tinggi dari pegawai. Kecerdasan emosional yang baik akan menjadikan seseorang mampu membuat keputusan yang baik, tegas, dan tepat walaupun dalam kondisi tertekan. Dalam meraih kesuksesan dan keberhasilan dalam bekerja, tidak hanya perhatian khusus dan pemahaman mengenai kecerdasan emosional saja, namun pengetahuan (knowledge) juga tak kalah penting bagi seorang karyawan.. Baik kecerdasan emosional dan knowledge sharing behavior mempunyai pengaruh antar sesamanya. Oleh karena itu, perusahaan perlu mengetahui sejauh mana kecerdasan emosional dan knowledge sharing behavior berperan dalam meningkatkan kinerja karyawan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) menjelaskan pengaruh Kecerdasan Emosional secara langsung signifikan terhadap Knowledge Sharing Behavior karyawan Teladan Prima Group; 2) menjelaskan pengaruh Kecerdasan Emosional secara langsung signifikan terhadap Kinerja Karyawan Teladan Prima Group; dan 3) menjelaskan pengaruh Knowledge Sharing Behavior secara langsung signifikan terhadap Kinerja Karyawan Teladan Prima Group. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian eksplanasi (Explanatory Research) dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Data primer dalam penelitian ini adalah karyawan Teladan Prima Group dengan populasi 85 orang dan sampel sebanyak 47 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan proportional random sampling. Variabel yang diteliti meliputi Kecerdasan Emosional, Knowledge Sharing Behavior dan Kinerja Karyawan. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif dan analisis jalur (path analysis). Hasil analisis jalur (path analysis) menunjukkan bahwa variabel Kecerdasan Emosional (X) berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap Knowledge Sharing Behavior (Y1) dengan nilai beta sebesar 0,674, variabel Kecerdasan Emosional (X) berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap Kinerja Karyawan (Y2) dengan nilai beta sebesar 0,277, dan variabel Knowledge Sharing Behavior (Y1) berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap Kinerja Karyawan (Y2) dengan nilai beta sebesar 0,543.

English Abstract

The human resource factor is the most important asset for determining the success or failure of an organization. Without the role of human resources the organization will not run well. The process of producing human resources must be supported by high emotional intelligence from employees. Good emotional intelligence will enable a person to make good, firm, and precise decisions even when under pressure, this affects a person to use emotions effectively, build productive work relationships, and achieve success in the workplace. In achieving success and success at work, not only special attention and understanding of emotional intelligence, but knowledge is also important for an employee. Both emotional intelligence and knowledge sharing behavior have an influence between each other. Therefore, companies need to know the extent to which emotional intelligence and knowledge sharing behavior play a role in improving employee performance. These two things not only function in improving employee performance, but also in employee development, and from employee performance it will be seen how a company operates well. This study aims to: 1) explain the influence of Emotional Intelligence which is directly significant to the Knowledge Sharing Behavior of Teladan Prima Group employees; 2) explain the influence of Emotional Intelligence which is directly significant on the employee performance of Teladan Prima Group; and 3) explain the influence of Knowledge Sharing Behavior which is directly significant on the Employee Performance of the Teladan Prima Group. This type of research used is explanatory research with a quantitative approach. Primary data in this study were employees of the Teladan Prima Group with a population of 85 people and a sample of 47 people. The sampling technique used was proportional random sampling. The variables studied include Emotional Intelligence, Knowledge Sharing Behavior and Employee Performance. The data analysis used was descriptive analysis and path analysis.
