Abstract

Hipertensi menjadi masalah yang banyak terjadi di dunia. Modifikasi gaya hidup menjadi penatalaksanaan yang penting.Seperempat dari jumlah orang dewasa di dunia menderita hipertensi,penatalaksanaan menjadi sangat penting salah satunya dengan modifikasi gaya hidup seperti diet rendah garam dan peningkatan aktivitas fisik. Keberhasilan terapi dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor, salah satunya dukungan keluarga. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana hubungan dukungan keluarga dengan kepatuhan diet rendah garam dan aktivitas fisik penderita hipertensi. Penelitian deskriptif korelatif dengan pendekatan cross-sectional dilakukan di Puskesmas Klatak Kalipuro Banyuwangi. Sampel dipilih berdasarkan purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel 71 orang. Variabel yang diukur adalah dukungan keluarga, kepatuhan diet rendah garam, aktivitas fisik, dan dihubungkan dengan metode spearman rank. Dukungan keluarga diperoleh 64 orang sudah baik dan 7 orang cukup. Kepatuhan diet rendah garam sebanyak 50 orang kategori tinggi, 9 orang cukup, dan 12 orang rendah. Aktivitas fisik seluruh responden dikategorikan rendah. Hasil uji statistik dukungan keluarga dengan kepatuhan diet rendah garam menunjukkan nilai sig =0,008 (p <0,05) dan nilai korelasi 0,310. Kesimpulan menunjukkan adanya hubungan antara dukungan keluarga dan kepatuhan diet rendah garam penderita hipertensi, dimana semakin baik dukungan keluarga yang diberikan maka akan semakin tinggi kepatuhan diet rendah garam pasien hipertensi Hasil lain menunjukkan tidak adanya hubungan antara dukungan keluarga dengan aktivitas fisik penderita hipertensi dengan nilai p sig = 0,430. Berdasarkan penelitian ini, disarankan pada keluarga untuk lebih mampu memaksimalkan dukungan keluarga instrumental seperti menemani responden berolahraga dan menyediakan makanan khusus diet rendah garam untuk responden.

English Abstract

Hypertension is a problem that often occurs in the world. Lifestyle modification is an important management. A quarter of the number of adults in the world suffer from hypertension, management is very important, one of them is lifestyle modification such as a low salt diet and increased physical activity. The success of therapy is influenced by several factors, one of them is family support. The purpose of this study was to determine how the relationship of family support with adherence to a low salt diet and physical activity of hypertension sufferers. A correlative descriptive study with a cross-sectional approach was conducted at the Klatak Health Center, Kalipuro, Banyuwangi. The sample was chosen based on purposive sampling with a sample of 71 people. The variables measured were family support, low salt diet adherence, physical activity, and were associated with the Spearman rank method. The family support obtained by 64 people is good and 7 people enough. Low-salt diet adherence as many as 50 people in the high category, 9 people enough, and 12 people low. The physical activity of all respondents is categorized as low. Statistical test results of family support with low salt diet adherence showed a sig = 0.008 (p <0.05) and a correlation value of 0.310. The conclusion shows that there is a relationship between family support and adherence to the low salt diet of hypertensive patients, where the better the family support provided, the higher the low salt diet adherence to hypertensive patients. Other results show no relationship between family support and physical activity of hypertensive patients with p = 0.430. Based on this study, it is recommended for families to be better able to maximize instrumental family support such as accompanying respondents to exercise and provide special low-salt diet foods for respondents.
