Abstract
Hubungan lansia dengan keluarga merupakan salah satu gambaran kondisi psikososial lansia. Keluarga sebagai support system utama bagi lansia, apabila interaksi dan dukungan berkurang mengakibatkan penyesuaian diri yang negative pada lansia. Fenomena di Desa Purworejo Krajan Wetan Kecamatan Donomulyo Kabupaten Malang di dapatkan lansia yang kurang aktif dalam kegiatan sosial terlihat murung mengungkapkan tidak puas terhadap kehidupannya, sering merasa sedih, mudah bosan, tidak bersemangat dan merasa kuatir akan masa depan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis hubungan fungsi perawatan keluarga dengan tingkat depresi lansia. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif korelasi dengan desain cross sectional Variabell dependen yang ditelitii adalah depresii dan variabel independen adalah fungsi perawatan keluarga..teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan simple. random. samplingg pada 109 lansia..Alat ukur yang digunakan adalah GeriatriccDepressioni Scale. dan Kuesioner Kualitas Perawatan Keluarga. Hasil uji korelasi Rank Spearman diperoleh nilai p = 0,000 (<0,05) dengan koefisien korelasi 0,442 yang berarti ada hubungan antara fungsi perawatan keluarga dengan tingkat depresi lansia, semakin baik fungsi perawatan keluarga maka tingkat depresi semakin rendah. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat membantu perawat dalam penatalaksanaan depresi lansia melalui pendekatan keluarga
English Abstract
The relationship between the elderly and the family is one illustration of the psychosocial condition of the elderly. The family as the main support system for the elderly, if interaction and support are reduced, it results in a negative adjustment in the elderly. The phenomenon in Purworejo Krajan Wetan Village, Donomulyo Subdistrict, Malang Regency was found that the elderly who were less active in social activities expressing dissatisfaction with their lives, often feeling sad, easily bored, not excited and worried about the future. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between family care functions and the level of depression in the elderly. This research is a descriptive correlation study with a cross-sectional design. The dependent variable studied is depression and the independent variable is the function of family care. The sampling technique uses simple random sampling in 109 elderly. Measuring instrument used is the Geriatric Depression Scale and the Family Care Quality Questionnaire. The Spearman Rank correlation test results obtained p-value = 0,000 (<0.05) with a correlation coefficient of 0.442 which means there is a relationship between the function of family care with the level of depression of the elderly, the better the function of family care, the lower the level of depression. This research is expected to help nurses in the management of elderly depression through a family approach.
