Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan menjelaskan pengaruh Lingkungan Kerja terhadap Kinerja Karyawan melalui Etos Kerja Karyawan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian penjelasan (explanatory research) dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Variabel dalam penelitian ini meliputi Lingkungan Kerja Fisik, Lingkungan Kerja Non Fisik, Etos Kerja Karyawan, dan Kinerja Karyawan. Penelitian ini menjangkau seluruh karyawan PT. Sri Rejeki Isman Tbk. dengan jumlah sampel sebesar 119 karyawan. Jumlah sampel tersebut ditentukan oleh pihak HRD atas dasar kebijakan perusahaan. Data diperoleh langsung dari responden dengan instrumen penelitian menggunakan angket. Analisis data meliputi analisis deskriptif dan analisis jalur yang diolah menggunakan SPSS versi 23.0 Hasil dari penelitian ini mengindikasikan bahwa(1) Lingkungan Kerja Fisik (X1) mempunyai pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Etos Kerja Karyawan (Z); (2) Lingkungan Kerja Non Fisik (X2) mempunyai pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Etos Kerja Karyawan (Z); (3) Lingkungan Kerja Fisik (X1) mempunyai pengaruh positif dan tidak signifikan terhadap Kinerja Karyawan (Y); (4) Lingkungan Kerja Non Fisik (X2) mempunyai pengaruh positif dan tidak signifikan terhadap Kinerja Karyawan (Y); (5) Etos Kerja Karyawan (Z) mempunyai pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kinerja Karyawan (Y); (6) pengaruh tidak langsung Lingkungan Kerja Fisik terhadap Kinerja Karyawan melalui Etos Kerja Karyawan lebih besar daripada pengaruh langsung Lingkungan Kerja Fisik terhadap Kinerja Karyawan, sehingga untuk mencapai Kinerja Karyawan yang tinggi akan lebih efektif melalui jalur tidak langsung dan Etos Kerja Karyawan memoderatori hubungan antara Lingkungan Kerja Fisik terhadap Kinerja Karyawan, begitu juga Lingkungan Kerja Non Fisik terhadap Kinerja Karyawan. Hasil total R2 sebesar 0,5875 mengindikasikan bahwa dalam model persamaan ini, variabel bebas (Lingkungan Kerja Fisik, Lingkungan Kerja Non Fisik, dan Etos Kerja Karyawan) dapat menjelaskan variabel terikat (Kinerja Karyawan) sebesar 58,8% dan sisanya 41.2% dijelaskan oleh variabel lain.

English Abstract

The aim of the research is to analyze and explain the impact of Work Environment on Employees Performance through the Employee Work Ethic. This is an explanatory reasearch with quantitative approach. The variables of this research are Physical Work Environment, Non Physical Work Environment, Employees Work Ethic, and Employees Performance. The scope of this research is identified as all the employees of PT. Sri Rejeki Isman Tbk. with the number of sample are 119 employee. The number of sample is determined by HRD on the basis of company policy. Data is collected directly from respondents using a questionnaire research instruments. Data analysis tools include descriptive analysis and path anlysis which is processed using SPSS for windows v 23.0 The results of the research indicate that : (1) Physical Work Environment (X1) has positive and signficant effect toward the Employee Work Ethic (Z); (2) Non Physical Work Environment (X2) has positif and significant effect toward the Employee Work Ethic (Z); (3) Physical Work Environment (X1) has positif and not significant effect toward Employees Performance (Y) ; (4) Non Physical Work Environment (X2) has positif and not significant toward Employees Performance (Y); (5) Employee Work Ethic (Z) has positif and significant effect toward Employees Performance (Y); and (6) the indirect effect of Physical Work Environment toward Employee Performance through the Employees Work Ethic is greater than the direct effect of Physical Work Enviroment toward the Employees Performance, so as to improve the Performance of employee is more effective through the indirect pathway and the Employee Work Ethic was moderated the relation between Physical Work Environment toward Employees Performance, so do the Non Physical Environment toward Employees Performance. The results of the R2 is 0,5875 meaning that the model with this equation, the independent variables (Physical Work Environment, Non Physical Work Enironment, Employees Work Ethic) are able to explain the dependent variable (Employees Performance) of 58,8% and the remaining 41,2% is explained by the other variables out of the model.
