Abstract
Penelitian ini dilakukan mengingat pentingnya Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerj a (K3) yang akan mempengaruhi kinerj a karyawan. K3 adalah suatu program yang dibuat untuk pekerj a maupun pengusaha sebagai upaya mencegah timbulnya kecelakaan dan penyakit akibat kerj a dengan cara mengenali hal-hal yang berpotensi menimbulkan kecelakaan kerja dan penyakit serta tindakan antisipatif apabila terjadi kecelakaan dan penyakit akibat kerj a. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh signifikan Keselamatan Kerj a (Xi) dan Kesehatan Kerj a (X2) secara simultan terhadap Kinerja Karyawan (Y) pada PT. Lion Metal Works Tbk. Selain itu juga untuk mengetahui pengaruh signifikan Keselamatan Kerj a (Xi) terhadap Kinerja Karyawan (Y) dan untuk mengetahui pengaruh signifikan Kesehatan Kerj a (X2) terhadap Kinerj a Karyawan (Y). Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksplanatori dengan pendekatan kuantitatif, menggunakan aplikasi SPSS 20 for windows. Populasi yang digunakan pada penelitian ini berjumlah 80 karyawan bagian produksi PT. Lion Metal Works Tbk. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel-variabel keselamatan kerja dan kesehatan kerja secara simultan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Kontribusi yang diberikan variabel-variabel tersebut belum memberikan kontribusi yang besar dan sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak dimasukkan dalam penelitian. Hubungan antara variabel keselamatan kerj a dan kesehatan kerj a terhadap kinerj a karyawan bersifat searah dengan hubungan yang cukup kuat. Keselamatan kerja secara parsial berpengaruh tidak signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan arah positif Kesehatan kerja secara parsial berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerj a karyawan dengan arah positif
English Abstract
This research is conducted considering the importance of Occupational Safety and Health (K3) which will affect employee performance. K3 is a program created for workers and employers in an effort to prevent accidents and occupational diseases by identifying the things that potentially cause work accidents and diseases and anticipatory action in the case of accidents and occupational diseases. The purpose of this study was to determine the significant effect of Occupational Safety (Xi) and Occupational Health (X2) simultaneously on Employee Performance (Y) at PT Lion Metal Works Tbk. In addition, to know the significant effect of Occupational Safety (Xi) on Employee Performance (Y) and to know the significant effect of Work Health (X2) on Employee Performance (Y). This type of research is explanatory research with quantitative approach, using application SPSS 20 for windows. The population used in this study amounted to 80 employees of the production of PT. Lion Metal Works Tbk. The results of this study indicate that the variables occupational safety and occupational health simultaneously have a significant effect on employee performance. Contributions provided by these variables have not contributed greatly and the rest is influenced by other factors not included in the study. The relationship between occupational safety and occupational health variables on employee performance is in the same direction with a strong relationship. Occupational safety partially has no significant effect on employee performance with positive direction. Occupational health partially has significant effect on employee performance with positive direction.
