Abstract

Tenaga kerja merupakan salah satu aspek yang penting dalam suatu perusahaan. Kinerja karyawan sangat berpengaruh bagi peningkatan kinerja dan produktivitas perusahaan. PKIS Sekar Tanjung merupakan industri pengolahan susu dengan teknologi proses UHT (Ultra High Temperature) yang mengolah susu segar menjadi susu siap konsumsi dengan nama susu Clevo. Penilaian kinerja karyawan bagian produksi di PKIS Sekar Tanjung digunakan hanya untuk menentukan gaji karyawan saja dan dilihat berdasarkan masa kerja karyawan, Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bobot masingmasing kriteria penilaian dan hasil perangkingan penilaian kinerja karyawan serta memberikan usulan perbaikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Fuzzy Multiple Attribute Decision Making (FMADM) dan Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) karena mampu menentukan altenatif optimal dengan kriteria lebih dari satu dan menghasilkan perangkingan dari nilai tertinggi hingga terendah. Kriteria yang digunakan untuk penilaian berdasarkan kompetensi Spencer yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan perusahaan. Kriteria dan bobot yang digunakan yaitu semangat berprestasi (0,725), inisiatif (0,725), empati (0,500), dapat diandalkan (0,725), berpikir konseptual (0,500), mampu mengoperasikan mesin dan peralatan (0,725), kerjasama tim (0,725), kooperatif (0,725), pengendalian diri sendiri (0,500), percaya diri (0,725), fleksibilitas (0,725), komitmen terhadap perusahaan (0,925), kesadaran berorganisasi (0,500), dan membangun hubungan kerja (0,725). Bobot kriteria tertinggi didapatkan oleh kriteria komitmen terhadap perusahaan. Penilaian dilakukan pada karyawan bagian produksi yang berjumlah 28 orang dengan penilai yaitu kepala bagian produksi. viii Hasil penilaian kinerja karyawan didapatkan 3 karyawan yang termasuk dalam kategori kinerja tinggi (nilai B), 23 karyawan dalam kategori kinerja sesuai standar (nilai C), dan 2 karyawan dalam kategori kinerja rendah (nilai D), serta perangkingan karyawan dari yang tertinggi hingga terendah. Usulan yang dapat diberikan pada perusahaan yaitu karyawan dengan kategori kinerja tinggi akan mendapatkan reward. Karyawan dengan kategori kinerja sesuai standar akan diberikan pelatihan (training). Karyawan yang termasuk dalam kategori kinerja rendah akan diberikan punishment dan pelatihan (training). Perusahaan juga dapat memberikan pelatihan (training) dan motivasi kepada seluruh karyawan sehingga karyawan dapat meningkatkan kinerjanya.

English Abstract

Employee is one of the important aspects in the company. Employee performance is very influential for the improvement of company performance and productivity. PKIS Sekar Tanjung is a dairy industry with UHT (Ultra High Temperature) process technology that processed the fresh milk into ready-to-drink products which called "Clevo". Performance appraisal in PKIS Sekar Tanjung based only by years of service to determine employee salaries. This study aims to determine the results of the weight of each assessment criteria and ranking ranking employee performance appraisal and provide suggestions for improvement. The objectives of this research is to determine the weight of each performance appraisal criteria and the ranking of employee performance appraisal also provide suggestions for improvement to the company. This research using Fuzzy Multiple Attribute Decision Making (FMADM) and Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method because it is able to determine optimal altenatif with more than one criteria and generate rank from highest to lowest. The criteria that used for performance appraisal based on Spencer's competence that be adapted with company needs. The criteria and weights that used are spirit of achievement (0.725), initiative (0.725), empathy (0,500), reliable (0.725), conceptual thinking (0,500), able to operate machine and equipment (0.725), teamwork (0.725), cooperative (0.725), self-control (0,500), confidence (0.725), flexibility (0.725), commitment to the company (0.925), organizational awareness (0,500), and establishing working relationships (0.725). The highest weight of criteria is commitment to the company. Performance appraisal was conducted for 28 employees of production with head of production departmen as evaluator. x The result of employee performance appraisal showed that there are 3 employees included in the high performance category (grade B), 23 employees in the standard performance category (grade C), and 2 employees in low performance category (grade D), and ranking of employees from highest to lowest. Improvements that can be given to the company based on the results of employee performance appraisal are employees that included in the high performance category and standards will be rewarded. Employees that included in the low performance category will be given punishment. For employees with the lowest rank will be given training by the company. Companies can also provide regular motivation to employees so that employees can improve their performance.
