Abstract

Perkembangan dunia perhotelan dewasa ini mengalami peningkatan yang cukup signifikan. Hal ini terlihat dari maraknya pembangunan beberapa hotel baru yang mulai bermunculan di kota-kota besar, salah satunya yaitu di Kota Malang. Salah satu departemen di hotel yaitu Housekeeping Departement. Housekeeping Departement yang memiliki tugas dan tanggung jawab untuk mencipatakan keindahan, kerapian, kebersihan kelengkapan dan kesehatan diseluruh area baik front of the house maupun back of the house agar seluruh tamu maupun karyawan dapat merasa nyaman dan aman selama berada didalam hotel. Rumusan masalah penelitian ini yaitu Apakah ada pengaruh pemberian in house training terhadap peningkatan kinerja Housekeeping Department di Hotel Ijen Suites Malang. Penelitian ini hanya sebatas membahas tentang penelitian pengaruh pemberian inhouse tarining terhadap peningkatan kinerja housekeeping department Di Hotel Ijen Suites Malang. Maksud dan tujuan yang ingin dicapai penulis dalam melakukan penelitian ini adalah Untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh pemberian in house tarining terhadap peningkatan kinerja Housekeeping Department di Hotel Ijen Suites Malang dengan sampel sebanyak 31 orang responden. Penelitian ini menggunakan eksplanatory, yang mengambil lokasi penelitian di Hotel Ijen Suites Malang. Data yang digunakan yaitu data primer dan data sekunder. Analisa data yang digunakan yaitu analis regresi linier sederhana. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini bahwa ada pengaruh antara variabel inhouse training terhadap variabel kinerja karyawan. Hal ini telah di uji menggunakan Uji t yang hasilnya telah diperoleh sebagai berikut thitung = dengan df (derajat kebebasan) 0,05 dan df2 = 31, maka didapat Ftabel sebesar = dimana thitung = > ttabel sehingga menunjukkan Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima artinya terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara inhouse training terhadap kinerja kerja karyawan.

English Abstract

The development of today's hospitality world has increased significantly. This is evident from the rampant construction of several new hotels that began popping up in big cities, one of which is in Malang. One of the departments at the hotel is Housekeeping Department. Housekeeping Departement that has the duty and responsibility to create beauty, neatness, cleanliness of completeness and health throughout the area both front of the house and back of the house so that all guests and employees can feel comfortable and safe while in the hotel. The formulation of this research problem is whether there is influence of in-house training to improve performance of Housekeeping Department at Hotel Ijen Suites Malang. This research is only limited to discuss about the influence of inhouse tarining research on the improvement of housekeeping department performance at Hotel Ijen Suites Malang. The aims and objectives of the authors in doing this research is To know and analyze the effect of in-house tarining on the improvement of performance Housekeeping Department at Hotel Ijen Suites Malang with a sample of 31 respondents. This research uses eksplanatory, which took the research location at Hotel Ijen Suites Malang. The data used are primary data and secondary data. The data analysis used is simple linear regression analyst. The conclusion from this research that there is influence between inhouse training variable to employee performance variable. It has been tested using T test which the result has been obtained as follows thitung = with df (degrees of freedom) 0.05 and df2 = 31, then obtained Ftable of = where tsum => ttable so that Ho shows rejected and Ha accepted meaning there is influence which is significant between inhouse training on employee performance
