Abstract
Sempitnya ruang publik di Kota Yogyakarta menyebabkan pemanfaatan ruang yang tidak layak menjadi ruang publik (Suparyo, 2008). Ruang Kota Yogyakarta dipenuhi street art termasuk mural, salah satunya di kawasan Stadion Kridosono yang merupakan pusat Kotabaru, dengan aktivitas olahraga, kuliner dan seni. Street art merupakan salah satu seni publik, yaitu seni yang terdapat di ruang publik seperti taman kota, jalan, bangunan umum, pusat perbelanjaan dan tempat-tempat lain yang terdapat orang-orang yang sedang memanfaatkan waktu luang mereka (Ramesar, 2005). Belum terdapat kebijakan untuk mengatasi vandalisme serta terhentinya pendanaan khusus mural secara berkala oleh Pemerintah Kota Yogyakarta. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi peranan mural di ruang publik dari aspek fisik, sosial dan budaya, mengidentifikasi kualitas ruang publik di kawasan Stadion Kridosono serta menyusun konsep pemanfaatan kawasan Stadion Kridosono menjadi ruang publik seni mural. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu analisis deskriptif terkait peranan mural, analisis Kano Model terkait persepsi masyarakat terhadap ruang publik, dan Visibility Graph Analysis terkait peletakan mural. Hasil analisis Deskriptif menunjukkan banyak peranan mural di ruang publik dari aspek fisik, sosial dan budaya. Hasil dari analisis Kano Model menunjukkan ada beberapa atribut yang perlu diprioritaskan. Hasil dari Visibility Graph Analysis menunjukkan ada 3 segmen untuk peruntukan mural. Dari hasil semua analisis, Kawasan Stadion Kridosono berpotensi menjadi ruang publik dengan seni mural yang dilengkapi fasilitas pendukung.
English Abstract
Lack of public space in Yogyakarta causes utilization of poor space to be a public space. Urban space in Yogyakarta is filled with street arts including mural, one of them is found in Kridosono Stadium area, which is at the center of Kotabaru, which provides sport, culinary and art activities. The street art is one of public art, the art in public spaces such as parks, roads, public buildings, shopping centers and other-places that there are people who are spending their free time (Ramesar, 2005). There is no policy in solving the vandalism and the periodical special funding for mural has been stopped by Yogyakarta government. The purpose of this research are: to identify the role of murals in public space with physical, social and cultural aspect; to identify the quality of public space in Kridosono Stadium area; and to arrange the concept of Kridosono Stadium area utilization as a public space mural art. The method used in this research are: descriptive analysis related to the role of mural, Kano Model analysis related to public perceptions about public space, and Visibility Graph Analysis related to mural placement. The result of Descriptive analysis indicates many mural roles in public space of Kridosono Stadium area from physical, social and cultural aspects . The result of Kano Model analysis indicates there was some attributes that need to be prioritized. The result of Visibility Graph Analysis indicates there was 3 segments for mural. From all the results, Kridosono Stadium area can be potential as a public space mural art with support facilities
