Abstract

Benih merupakan input yang paling utama dalam melakukan kegiatan budidaya tanaman jagung manis. Kualitas benih yang baik memberikan banyak keuntungan bagi petani jagugng manis. Atribut produk benih jagung manis sebagai media perusahaan memberikan informasi kepada petani menajdi salah satu bagian yang menarik untuk diteliti. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat kesesuaian kualitas, prioritas peningkatan kinerja atribut produk benih jagung manis, serta tingkat kepuasan petani terhadap penggunaan benih jagung manis. Petani jagung manis di Kecamatan Dlanggu menggunakan benih jagung manis merek Talenta pada musim tanam terakhir. Petani juga pernah menanam benih jagung manis merek Master Sweet dan Sweet Boy. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, penelitian ini menggunakan 3 merek benih jagung manis yaitu Talenta, Master Sweet, dan Sweet Boy. Penelitian ini menggunakan pengujian instrumen penelitian dengan Cochran’s Q Test. Berdasarkan 24 atribut produk yang ditetapkan sebelumnya, menghasilkan 11 atribut produk yang dipertimbangkan oleh petani. Hasil analisis data menggunakan model Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) menghasilkan 3 merek benih jagung manis memiliki persebaran atribut produk pada kuadran I dan kuadran II yang berbeda. Namun, produsen perlu meningkatkan kinerja atribut produk pada ketiga merek tersebut yaitu kuantitas hasil produksi yang berada pada kuadran I. Petani menilai hasil produksi ketiga merek belum memenuhi harapan petani. Penelitian ini juga menggunakan teknik analisis data menggunakan Customer Satsfaction Index (CSI). Hasil dari perhitungan CSI menunjukkan bahwa benih jagung manis Talenta memberikan tingkat kepuasan sangat puas (84,41%). Benih jagung manis merek Master Sweet memberikan tingkat kepuasan puas (73,60%) dan merek Sweet Boy puas (78,94%). Produsen benih jagung manis pada ketiga merek tersebut perlu meningkatkan kinerja atribut produk, agar nilai CSI mencapai 100% atau bisa dikatakan memenuhi harapan petani.

English Abstract

Seeds are the main input in conducting sweet corn cultivation activities. Good seed quality provides many advantages for sweet peanut farmers. The product attributes of sweet corn seeds as a media company provide information to farmers menajdi one of the interesting parts to be studied. This study aims to analyze the level of quality conformity, priority performance improvement of sweet corn seeds product attributes, and farmers' satisfaction on the use of sweet corn seeds. Sweet corn farmers in Kecamatan Dlanggu use Talenta sweet corn seeds in the last planting season. Farmers also planted sweet corn seeds of the brands Sweet Sweet and Sweet Boy. Based on this, this research uses 3 brands of sweet corn seeds namely Talenta, Master Sweet, and Sweet Boy. This study used a research instrument test with Cochran's Q Test. Based on 24 previously defined product attributes, 11 product attributes are considered by farmers. The result of data analysis using Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) model yield 3 brands of sweet corn seed have spread of product attribute in quadrant I and quadrant II different. However, producers need to improve the performance of product attributes on the three brands is the quantity of production that is in quadrant I. Farmers assess the results of the three brands have not met the expectations of farmers. This research also uses data analysis technique using Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI). Results from CSI calculations show that the seeds of sweet corn Talenta provide a very satisfied satisfaction level (84.41%). Sweet Sweet corn seed brand Master Sweet gives satisfaction satisfaction rate (73,60%) and brand Sweet Boy satisfied (78,94%). Producers of sweet corn seeds in the three brands need to improve the performance of product attributes, so that the value of CSI reaches 100% or can be said to meet the expectations of farmers.
