Abstract
Menarche adalah periode menstruasi pertama. Dalam kurun waktu beberapa tahun terakhir usia menarche telah bergeser ke usia lebih muda. Dampak usia menarche yang terlalu cepat yaitu meningkatkan resiko kanker payudara. Usia menarche yang cepat disebabkan berbagai faktor, salah satunya adalah tingkat pengetahuan yang secara langsung akan mempengaruhi asupan energi dan zat gizi. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui tingkat pengetahuan gizi dan kesehatan pada remaja di kabupaten Malang. Desain penelitian deskriptif analitik menggunakan pendekatan cross sectional . Sampel dipilih dengan cara simple random sampling pada seluruh siswi kelas VII yang memenuhi kriteria dengan jumlah sample yang ditetapkan yaitu 107 sampel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata menarche responden (n=99) yaitu 11,75±0,57 tahun dengan rincian 52,5% responden belum menarche dan 47,5% responden sudah menarche . Tingkat pengetahuan gizi dan kesehatan responden dalam kategori kurang sebesar 56,6%, kategori cukup sebesar 32,3% dan kategori baik sebesar 11,1%. Berdasarkan uji statistik Chi-Square menunjukkan tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan antara tingkat pengetahuan gizi dan kesehatan dengan kejadian menarche di 4 Kecamatan Kabupaten Malang (p>0,05). Saran penelitian perlu adanya edukasi mendalam mengenai pentingnya zat gizi saat masa pertumbuhan dan perlu penelitian lanjutan dalam tingkat pengetahuan mengenai reproduksi untuk melengkapi penelitian ini.
English Abstract
Menarche is the first of menstrual period. In a period of a few years the age of menarche has been shifted to a younger age. The impact of the age of early menarche, are increases the risk of breast cancer. The age of menarche is fast due to various factors, one of which is a level of knowledge that directly affects the intake of energy and nutrients. This research aims to know the level of knowledge of nutrition and health in adolescents in Malang. Descriptive research analytical design using the approach of cross sectional. The sample was chosen by simple random sampling on the entire class VII students who meet the criteria by the number of samples specified 107 samples. The results showed an average menarche respondents (n = 99) 11.75 ± 0.57 with details of 52.5% of respondents have not menarche and 47,5% of respondents have menarche. The level of knowledge of nutrition and health are 56,6% of respondents have low level, 32,3% of respondents have exactly level and 11,1% of responden have good level of knowledge. Based on statistical test of Chi-Square showed no significant association of the level of knowledge of nutrition and health with status menarche in four district of Malang (p>0.05). Suggested research need for in-depth education on the importance of nutrients during growth and need to further research the level of knowledge about reproduction to furnish this research.
