Abstract
Status gizi balita usia ≤ 1 tahun merupakan ukuran pemenuhan nutrisi balita usia ≤ 1 tahun. Intervensi kesehatan dan gizi harus diberikan optimal pada usia ini agar diperoleh hasil pertumbuhan dan perkembangan maksimal. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara riwayat status gizi ibu selama kehamilan trimester ketiga dan tingkat pengetahuan ibu tentang gizi dengan status gizi balita usia ≤ 1 tahun. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah analitik menggunakan pendekatan cross sectional. Sampel dipilih menggunakan teknik non probability sampling dengan metode purposive sampling. Variabel Independen yang diteliti adalah riwayat status gizi ibu selama kehamilan trimester ketiga dan tingkat pengetahuan ibu tentang gizi, sedangkan variabel dependen yang diteliti adalah status gizi balita usia ≤ 1 tahun. Hasil uji signifikasi Chi-Square dengan tingkat kemaknaan α < 0,05 menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan signifikan antara riwayat status gizi ibu selama kehamilan trimester ketiga dengan status gizi balita usia ≤ 1 tahun (p value = 0,000), dan tidak ada hubungan siginifikan antara tingkat pengetahuan ibu tentang gizi dengan status gizi balita usia ≤ 1 tahun (p value = 0,580).
English Abstract
Nutritional status of children age ≤ 1 year old is a measurement of nutrition fulfillment of children age ≤ 1 . Health interventions and nutrition should be given optimally at this age to obtain maximum their growth and development. The purpose of this research was to determine the correlation of history’s maternal nutritional status during the third trimester of pregnancy and the mothers knowledge level about nutrition on nutritional status of children age ≤ 1 year old. The research design used analytic with cross sectional approach. The sample was chosen by using non probability sampling technique with purposive sampling method. The independent variable studied were the history of maternal nutritional status during the third trimester of pregnancy and the mothers knowledge level about nutrition. While the dependent variable was nutritional status of children age ≤ 1 year old. The result of Chi-Square Test (significant level at α < 0,05) showed that there is a significant correlation between history’s maternal nutritional status during the third trimester of pregnancy and nutritional status of children in the age ≤ 1 year old (p = 0,000) and there is no significant correlation between the correlation of mothers knowledge level about nutrition and nutritional status of children age ≤ 1 year old of age (p = 0,580).
