Abstract
Obesitas adalah kelebihan berat badan karena proporsi lemak tubuh yang lebih besar dibanding komponen tubuh lainnya dengan hasil pengukuran BB/TB >3 SD menurut tabel WHO Anthro 2006. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan Pengetahuan Ibu tentang Pola Makan dengan Terjadinya Obesitas Anak Usia 2-5 Tahun di Posyandu Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Kendalsari Kota Malang. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif analitik dengan menggunakan pendekatan cross sectional. Sampel dipilih dengan menggunakan metode non probability sampling. Variabel Independen yang diteliti adalah pengetahuan ibu tentang pola makan. Sedangkan variabel dependen yang diteliti adalah anak obesitas usia 2-5 tahun. Hasil uji signifikasi Chi-Square dengan tingkat kemaknaan p<0,01 menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan pengetahuan ibu tentang pola makan p value=0,002. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah pengetahuan ibu tentang pola makan berhubungan secara signifikan dengan kejadian obesitas anak usia 2-5 tahun, dimana pengetahuan ibu yang baik menurunkan kejadian obesitas sedangkan pengetahuan ibu yang kurang dan cukup meningkatkan kejadian obesitas
English Abstract
Obesity is excess body weight due to the proportion of body fat greater than other body components with the results of measurements of weight / height> 3 SD according to WHO Antro 2006. The purpose of this study was to detemine the relathionsip between mother’s knowledge of diet with the occuraence of obesity in children aged 2-5 years old in integrated health center in work area of Puskesmas Kendalsari Malang City. This study using descriptive analytical with cross sectional approach. The sample was selected using non probability sampling. The independent variable is mother’s knowledge about diet, while the dependent variable is obese children aged 2-5 years old. Result of Chi-Square significance test with a significant level of p< 0.01 indicates that mother’s knowledge about diet showed p value = 0.002. Conclusion of this study is the mother’s knowledge about diet was significantly associated with the incidence of obesity of children aged 2-5 years old, good knowledge of mothers decrease the incidence of obesity and lack of knowledge of mothers increase the incidence of obesit
