Abstract
Peran sumber daya manusia dalam kesejahteraan perusahaan sangat penting. Oleh karena itu, perusahaan harus memperhatikan kinerja karyawan, sehingga tujuan perusahaan dapat tercapai. Ada beberapa faktor yang memberi pengaruh positif terhadap kinerja. Kinerja karyawan yang tinggi ditentukan oleh motivasi kerja yang tinggi. Motivasi finansial dan nonfinansial adalah faktor kunci untuk meningkatkan kinerja karyawan. Penelitian ini berjudul "Pengaruh Motivasi Finansial dan Nonfinansial Terhadap Kinerja Karyawan di Pabrik Gula Kebon Agung Malang" bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah variabel motivasi kerja yang terdiri dari motivasi finansial dan motivasi nonfinansial berpengaruh secara simultan dan parsial terhadap kinerja karyawan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian ‘explanatory research’. Jumlah sampel responden sebesar 73 karyawan tetap PG Kebon Agung Malang. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dan di uji dengan uji instrumen data, metode analisis data, dan analisis regresi linier berganda. Semua uji tersebut dilakukan dengan menggunakan program SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solutions) 20 for Windows. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa motivasi finansial dan non finansial terhadap kinerja karyawan berpengaruh secara simultan dan parsial. Motivasi finansial yang paling penting adalah gaji, dan dimana promosi pekerjaan adalah motivasi nonfinansial maka bisa meningkatkan semangat kerja karyawan.
English Abstract
The role of human resources in the wellbeing of companies is vital. Therefore, companies must pay a great attention to the performance employees, so the goals of the companies can be achieved. There are several factors that give positive influences on performance. High employee performance is determined by high work motivation. Financial and nonfinancial motivation are key factors to improve employee performance. The research entitle “The Influence of Financial and Nonfinancial Motivation on Employee Performance in Kebon Agung Sugar Factory Malang” aims to know whether work motivation variable consisting of financial motivation and nonfinancial motivation has a significant effect on employee performance. The sample of this explanatory research is 73 permanent employees of Kebon Agung Sugar Factory in Malang. The data are collated through questionnare and assessed using instrument data test, data analysis method, and multiple linear regression analysis in SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solution) 20 for Windows. The result of the research shows that the financial and nonfinancial motivation on employee performance has an effect simultaneously and partially. The most important financial motivation is salary, and where job promotion is the nonfinancial motivation the can be increase employee’s morale.
