Abstract

Tujuan Penelitian ini, mengetahui pengaruh perekrutan, kompetensi, motivasi kerja terhadap gaya kepemimpinan transformasional, dan mengetahui perekrutan, kompetensi, motivasi kerja, gaya kepemimpinan transformasional terhadap kinerja. Pendekatan penelitian ini yang digunakan explanatory research, pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik survei melalui angket dan wawancara. Populasi dalam penelitian ini, adalah karyawan Fronliner Costumer Service, Teller) Populasi dalam penelitian sebanyak 129 orang yang tersebar 15 dikantor cabang Pembantu, dibawah lingkup kerja BNI Cabang Makassar. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan metode sensus sebanyak 129 orang Data dianalisis dengan metode statistik menggunakan SEM dan Software AMOS 2.0 Hasil Penelitian ini, menunjukkan bahwa semakin baik perekrutan, kompetensi, motivasi kerja dapat meningkatkan gaya kepemimpinan transformasional, demikian juga sebaliknya pelaksanaan perekrutan tidak berdasarkan penilaian yang objektik, tidak berdasarkan prosedur dan tahapan perekrutan, hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa perekrutan berpengaruh positif namun tidak signifikan terhadap kinerja, pada dimensi kompetensi pengetahuan, keterampilan, pengalaman, dan sikap yang rendah, sangat mempengaruhi turunnya kinerja, hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi berpengaruh positif namun tidak signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, pemberian motivasi yang baik sangat berpengaruh untuk peningkatan kinerja, hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa motivasi kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, hasil penelitian untuk hubungan tidak langsung perekrutan, kompetensi, motivasi kerja, berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja, yang dimediasi oleh gaya kepemimpinan transformasional.

English Abstract

The objectives of this studi are to identify the influence of recruitment, competence, and work motivation on transformational leadership style and to identify the influence of recruitment, competence, work motivation, and transformationonal leadership style on employee performance. The data of this explanatory research are collected through surveys and interviews. The population of this is 129 frontliner, customer service officers, and tellers of 15 sub-branch offices of BNI in Makassar. The data are collected through census on the population, which are then statistically analyzed using SEM and AMOS 2,0. The result show that better recruitmen, competence, and work motivation improve transformational leadership style. On the contrary, recruitmen which is not besed on objective assessment and appropriate procedure and sequences hinders the leadership style. Furthermore, recruitment positively yet insignificantly influences employee performance. In the dimension of competence, Low level of knowledge, skiil, and experience hinders employee performance. In addition, competence positively yet insignificantly influences employee performance, Motivation effort improves employee perpormance considerably. The results of this study indicate that work motivation positively and significantly influences employee performance.. Finally, recruitmrnt, competence, and work motivation positively and significantly influence employee performance with the mediation of transformational leadership style.
