Abstract
Pengasuhan merupakan faktor yang sangat erat kaitannya dengan pertumbuhan dan perkembangan anak berusia di bawah lima tahun. Kondisi status gizi anak balita dapat dipengaruhi oleh konsumsi makanan dan pola asuh orang tua yang tidak baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan pola asuh makan dengan status gizi balita di kecamatan Jereweh Kabupaten Sumbawa Barat. Jenis penelitian analitik observasional, dengan pendekatan Cross Sectional. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini 90 orang balita berusia 36-59 bulan. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Dilakukan systematic random sampling jika jumlah sampel yang ditentukan oleh teknik purposive sampling masih melebihi dari perhitungan jumlah sampel yang ditentukan. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukan pola asuh makan balita di Kecamatan Jereweh Kabupaten Sumbawa Barat termasuk dalam kategori cukup baik. Hasil statistik menunjukan ada hubungan yang signifikan antara pola asuh makan dengan status gizi balita di Kecamatan Jereweh Kabupaten Sumbawa Barat. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah hipotesis dierima karena adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara pola asuh makan dengan status gizi balita di Kecamatan Jereweh Kabupaten Sumbawa Barat NTB.
English Abstract
Parenting is a closely factor that related to growth and expansion of children under the age of five. The condition of nutritional status of children under five can be influenced by the consumption of food and that are not good parenting patterns. This study aims to determine the corelation between consume patterns with nutritional status of children under five in district of Jereweh, West Sumbawa Regency. This type of research is observational analytic by means of approcach Cross Sectional. The number of samples in this study were 90 children under five in which the toddler was 36-59 months old. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. Systematic random sampling used if the number of samples determined by purposive sampling technique still exceeds the calculation of samples specified. The results of the study showed that pattern of toddler feeding in district of jereweh, West Sumbawa Regency included in to the category quite good. The statistical results showed the significant corelation between the pattern of feeding with nutritional status of children under five in District of Jereweh, West Sumbawa Regency. The conclusion of this research is hypothesis accepted because of the significant relationship between eating pattern with nutritional status of children under five in district of Jereweh, West Sumbawa Regency, West Nusa Tenggara province (NTB).
