Abstract

Masalah kekurangan gizi pada balita dapat mengganggu tumbuh kembang balita. Ada berbagai faktor yang menyebabkan timbulnya masalah kekurangan gizi beberapa diantaranya adalah asupan makan yang ditinjau dari segi keragaman pangan dan tingkat ekonomi keluarga. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan keragaman konsumsi pangan balita dan tingkat ekonomi keluarga dengan status gizi balita. Desain penelitian adalah cross sectional. Penentuan lokasi penelitian menggunakan teknik multistage sampling sedangkan pemilihan responden menggunakan teknik consecutive sampling dengan total 24 responden. Data keragaman konsumsi pangan diperoleh dengan melakukan 1x24 hour recall kemudian dikategorikan berdasarkan kuesioner IDDS. Data tingkat ekonomi diperoleh dengan wawancara terkait pendapatan keluarga dan pengeluaran pangan perbulan, kemudian dilakukan perhitungan indeks komposit dari 2 indikator tersebut. Pengukuran status gizi menggunakan indikator BB/U, TB/U dan BB/TB. Analisis hubungan menggunakan uji spearman. Hasilnya didapatkan sebanyak 48% keragaman konsumsi pangan balita rendah, sebanyak 68% pendapatan keluarga rendah, sebanyak 44% proporsi pengeluaran pangan >60%, sebanyak 44% tingkat ekonomi keluarga rendah, status gizi underweight (12%), stunting (28%), wasting (4%). Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah tidak ada hubungan antara skor keragaman konsumsi pangan balita dengan status gizi balita (z-score BB/U p = 0,178; z-score TB/U p = 0,364; z-score BB/TB p = 0,607) dan tidak ada hubungan antara tingkat ekonomi keluarga dengan status gizi balita (z score BB/U p = 0,705; TB/U p = 0,333; BB/TB p = 0,963).

English Abstract

The problem of malnutrition in under five children can disrupt the growth of under five children. There are various factors that cause the malnutrition problems some of which is the intake of food in terms of food diversity and level of family economy. The purpose of this research is to know the correlation of food consumption diversity and level of family economy with nutritional status of under five children. The research design is cross sectional. The research location determination using multistage sampling technique while the selection of respondents using consecutive sampling technique with 25 respondents. The data of food consumption diversity was obtained by performing 1x24 hour recall then categorized based on IDDS questionnaire. The level of economy data obtained by interviews related to family income and monthly food expenditure, then calculated composite index of the two indicators. Measuring nutritional status using indicator BB/U, TB/U and BB /TB. Correlation analysis using spearman test. The results obtained as many as 48% on food consumption diversity of under five children is low, as many as 68% of the family income is low, as many as 44% of food expenditure proportion >60%, as many as 44% of the low level of family economy, nutritional status underweight (12%), stunting (28%), wasting (4%). The conclusion of this research is there is no correlation between food consumption diversity score with nutritional status of under five children (z score BB/U p=0,178; TB/U p=0,364; BB/TB p= 0,607) and there is no correlation between level of family economy with nutritional status of under five children (z score BB/U p=0,705; TB/U p=0,333; BB/TB p=0,963).
