Abstract

Long Term Evolution (LTE) merupakan salah satu generasi pada bidang teknologi telekomunikasi seluler berkecepatan tinggi dengan standar yang telah diterapkan oleh 3GPP (Third Generation Partnership Project) sebagai penerus teknologi jaringan seluler 3G dan 3,5G. LTE bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas dan kecepatan pengiriman data, menggunakan spektrum yang tidak pernah digunakan sebelumnya, menyederhanakan arsitektur jaringan seluler, dan mengurangi biaya pengiriman data. Skripsi ini bertujuan menganalisis data hasil drivetest perbandingan pengukuran dengan perhitungan secara matematis untuk mengetahui Quality of Service (QoS) pada jaringan 4G LTE di wilayah Kabupaten Ponorogo. Parameter yang diamati adalah Reference Signal Received Power (RSRP), Signal to Interference and Noise Ratio (SINR), dan Throughput. Proses pencarian data dilakukan selama 4 hari dengan waktu yang berbeda-beda. Tipe alat yang digunakan dalam pencarian data dan analisis yakni Tems Pocket dan Tems Discovery. Hasil yang didapat dari analisis bahwa untuk RSRP paling banyak menunjukkan range nilai berada pada -100dBm sampai -80 dB sebesar 73,3762%. SINR yang dihasilkan akan semakin tinggi dengan nilai paling banyak pada range 5 dB sampai 15 dB dengan persentase 63,145%. Sedangkan nilai throughput akan semakin besar ketika nilai dari SINR semakin besar pula, sehingga kualitas sistem semakin baik dengan rata-rata nilai 8010,51 Kbps. Berdasarkan analisis menggunakan parameter RSRP, SINR, dan Throughput, dapat disimpulkan jaringan LTE di Wilayah Kabupaten Ponorogo menunjukkan kualitas sinyal yang baik.

English Abstract

Long Term Evolution (LTE) is one generation of high-speed mobile telecommunication technology with standards that have been implemented by 3GPP (Third Generation Partnership Project) as the successor of 3G and 3.5G mobile network technology. LTE aims to increase the capacity and speed of data transmission, use a spectrum never used before, simplify the mobile network architecture, and reduce data tansmission costs. This research aims to analyze the data of the drivetest results of the measurement comparison with mathematical calculation to know the Quality of Service (QoS) on 4G LTE network in Ponorogo regency. The parameters observed were Reference Signal Received Power (RSRP), Signal to Interference and Noise Ratio (SINR), and Throughput. The data searching process is done for 4 days with different time. Type of tools used in data search and analysis are Tems Pocket and Tems Discovery. The results obtained from the analysis that for RSRP most shows the range of values is at -100dBm to -80 dB of 73.3762%. The resulting SINR will be higher with the highest value in the range of 5 dB to 15 dB with the percentage of 63.145%. While the value of throughput will be greater when the value of SINR increasingly large, so the quality of the system better with an average value of 8010.51 Kbps. Based on the analysis using RSRP, SINR, and Throughput parameters, it can be concluded that LTE network in Ponorogo District shows good signal quality.
