Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul Pengaruh Motivasi Kerja dan Disiplin Kerja terhadap Kinerja Karyawan (Studi pada Karyawan Tetap PT Karoseri Tentrem Sejahtera Kota Malang), lokasi ini dipilih oleh peneliti dengan pertimbangan bahwa PT Karoseri Tentrem Sejahtera merupakan salah satu perusahaan manufaktur bus dan coach yang ada di Indonesia. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah Motivasi Kerja dan Disiplin Kerja yang merupakan salah satu faktor penting yang mempengaruhi Kinerja Karyawan yang ada PT Karoseri Tentrem Sejahtera. Penelitian ini bertujaun untuk mengetahui pengaruh secara simultan dan parsial motivasi kerja dan disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian penjelasan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Meode pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dan studi dokumentasi. Metode ini digunakan untuk menjelaskan hubungan antar variabel-variabel yang diteliti satu sama lain. Teknik analisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif, analisis regresi linier berganda, uji F dan uji t. Berdasarkan hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa motivasi kerja dan disiplin kerja berpengaruh secara simultan terhadap kinerja karyawan sebesar 32,6% sedangkan sisanya sebesar 67,4% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini. Motivasi kerja berpengaruh secara parsial dengan nilai signifikan 0,011 lebih kecil dari α = 0,050. Sedangkan Disiplin kerja juga berpengaruh secara parsial dengan nilai 0,034 lebih kecil dari α = 0,050. Maka diharapkan PT Tentrem Sejahtera untuk selalu meningkatkan motivasi kerja dan disiplin kerja agar kinerja karyawan lebih memuaskan.

English Abstract

This study entitled The Influence of Work Motivation and Work Discipline to the Employee Performance (Studies of permanent employees at PT Karoseri Tentrem Sejahtera Malang City), the location was chosen by the researchers with the consideration that the PT Karoseri Tentrem Sejahtera is one of the bus and coach manufacturing company in Indonesia. The background of this research is the Work Motivation and Work Discipline which is one of the important factors affecting the performance of existing Employee PT Karoseri Tentrem Sejahtera.. This study aims to determine the effect simultaneously and partially work motivation and discipline on employee performance. This type of research is an explanatory research with quantitative approach. The method of data collection using questionnaires and documentation study. This method is used to describe relationships between variables each other. Mechanical analysis using descriptive analysis, multiple linear regression analysis, F test and t test. The result showed that motivation and discipline simultaneous has influence on employee performance by 32.6% while the remaining 67.4% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study. Work motivation is partially affected by the significant value of 0,011 is smaller than α = 0,050. While working Discipline also is partially affected with 0,034 value smaller than α = 0,050. It is expected that PT Karoseri Tentrem Sejahtera to always increase the motivation and discipline that employee performance is satisfactory.
