Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara konformitas teman sebaya dengan agresi verbal pada narapidana remaja di LPKA Kelas I Blitar. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 126 narapidana remaja di LPKA (Lembaga Pembinaan Khusus Anak) Kelas I Blitar yang diambil dengan menggunakan metode non-probability sampling dengan menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh. Alat ukur yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data penelitian disusun oleh peneliti yang terdiri dari skala konformitas mengacu pada aspek konformitas dari Sears (1994) serta skala agresi verbal yang mengacu pada indikator perilaku agresivitas verbal dari Buss dan Perry, 1992 (Purba, 2016). Uji hipotesis korelasi product moment pearson menunjukkan nilai koefisien korelasi (rxy) sebesar 0.601 dengan nilai signifikansi p=0.000 (p<0.05) yang berarti hipotesis diterima dengan arah hubungan yang positif antara kedua variabel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan semakin tinggi konformitas teman sebaya , maka semakin tinggi agresi verbal pada narapidana remaja di LPKA Kelas I Bitar.
English Abstract
This research was aimed to determine the relationship between peer conformity and verbal aggression on inmate teenagers in LPKA Kelas I Blitar. The number of samples in this study were 126 inmate teenagers in LPKA (Lembaga Pembinaan Khusus Anak) Kelas I Blitar taken using of non-probability sampling method by using a saturated sampling technique. Measuring instrument used in gathering research data compiled by researchers that consists of a scale of conformity refers to conformity aspect by Sears (1994) as well as the scale of the verbal aggression refers to indicator of verbal aggressiveness behavior by Buss and Perry, 1992 (Purba, 2016). Hypothesis test of correlation product moment pearson in correlation coefficient values (rxy) registration 0.601 with value significance p = 0.000 (p < 0.05) which means that the hypothesis is accepted by direction of a positive relationship between the two variables. The results showed that the higher of the peer conformity, then the higher of verbal aggression on inmate teenagers in LPKA Kelas I Blitar.
