Abstract

penambahan berbagai daun leguminosa berbeda dapat meningkatkan KcBK, KcBO dan konsentrasi NH3. Formula terbaik silase pakan lengkap adalah perlakuan P4 dengan nilai KcBK tertinggi yaitu 62,53 ± 2,03%, nilai KcBO yang tinggi yaitu 63,33 ± 1,55% dan konsentrasi NH3 cairan rumen yang optimal 8,07 ± 0,59 mM. Saran dari penelitian ini yaitu perlu dilakukan penelitian secara in vivo terhadap silase pakan lengkap berbasis jerami jagung dengan penambahan leguminosa seperti Calliandra calothyrsus, Leucaena leucocephala, Gliricidia sepium dan Indigofera zollingeriana untuk mengetahui kualitas pakan secara langsung pada ternak.

English Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of addition different of legumes in complete feed silage based on corn straw (Zea mays) on digestibility and NH3 rumen liquid consentration of in vitro. The material used were corn straw, various of legumes (Calliandra calothyrsus, Leucaena leucocephala, Gliricidia sepium and Indigofera zollingeriana) and concentrate. The method used in this experiment was Randomized Block Design 4x3, with 4 treatments namely : T1= (40% Concentrates + 39.5% Corn straw + 20.5% Calliandra calothyrsus), T2= (40% Concentrates + 45% Corn straw + 15% Leucaena leucocephala), T3= (40% Concentrates + 42% Corn straw + 18% Gliricidia sepium) dan T4= (40 % Concentrates + 44.5% Corn straw + 15.5% Indigofera zollingeriana). If there were significant influence continued with Duncan’s Multiple Range Test Method. The results showed that the addition of different types legumes in complete feed silage gave highly significantly different effect (P<0.01) on dry matter digestibility and organic matter digestibility but gave different effect (P<0.05) on concentration NH3 rumen liquid. So, it can be concluded that the best formula of complete feed silage was formula on treatment P4 in term of dry matter digestibility and organic matter digestibility, have optimal level of NH3 rumen liquid concentration.
