Abstract

Latar Belakang: Indonesia memiliki lebih dari satu juta jiwa penderita skizofrenia yang tersebar di masing-masing provinsi. Perawatan bagi penderita skizofrenia tidak hanya dilakukan di rumah sakit saja, tetapi akan dilajutkan setelah kembali ke keluarganya. Keluarga yang tidak mampu beradaptasi pada masalah perawatan penderita tersebut, maka masalah tersebut akan dianggap sebagai beban oleh keluarga. Acceptence and Commitment Therapy (ACT) merupakan salah satu terapi yang bertujuan untuk mengajarkan individu untuk perduli (aware) dan dapat menggunakan cara pandang yang baru dalam berfikir untuk menghadapi sebuah permasalahan. Tujuan: penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh ACT terhadap beban yang dirasakan keluarga dalam merawat penderita skizofrenia. Desain: Jenis penelitian ini adalah Quasi Eksperiment Pre-Post Test With Control Group. Jumlah sampel pada penelitian ini sebanyak 24 orang yang dibagi menjadi dua kelompok. Variabel independent pada penelitian ini adalah terapi ACT sementara variabel dependentnya adalah beban yang dirasakan keluarga. Analisa data pada penelitian ini menggunakan uji T-test dan regresi linier. Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukan didapatkan perbedaan tidak bermakna pada kelompok kontrol setelah mendapatkan penyuluhan kesehatan (p=>0,05). Pada kelompok perlakuan menunjukan perbedaan bermakna setelah mendapatkan penyuluhan kesehatan dan ACT (p=<0,05). Hasil uji regresi linier menunjukan bahwa faktor usia dan terapi ACT memiliki pengaruh sebesar 57,1% terhadap beban keluarga. Perawat puskesmas diharapkan dapat melakukan kerja sama lintas sektoral terkait pemberian dan pelaksanaan terapi lanjutan untuk beban keluarga dalam merawat penderita skizofrenia.

English Abstract

Background: Indonesia has more than one million people with schizophrenia spread in each province. Treatment for people with schizophrenia is not only done in hospital alone, but will be continued after returning to his family. Families who are not able to adapt to the patient's care problem, then the problem will be considered as a burden by the family. Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is one of therapy that aims to teach the individual to be aware and use a new perspective in thinking to face a problem. Aims: This research aims to know the effect of ACT on family burden in caring for the schizophrenia. Design: The design used in this research is Quasi Experiment Pre-Post Test With Control Group. The numbers of samples in this study were 24 people divided into two groups. The independent variable in this study is ACT therapy while the dependent variable is the burden felt by the family. Data analysis in this research use T-test and linear regression. Results: The results showed no significant difference in the control group after getting health counseling (p = >0.05). In the treatment group showed significant difference after getting health education and ACT (p = <0,05). The result of linear regression test showed that age factor and ACT therapy had an effect of 57,1% to family burden. Nurse on community health center are expected to conduct cross-sectoral cooperation to the giving advanced therapy for family with caring schizophrenia.
