Abstract
International People’s Tribunal (IPT) 1965 atau dalam bahasa Indonesia Sidang Rakyat Internasional 1965 telah digelar pada 10 sampai 13 November 2015, serta putusan dibacakan pada 20 Juli 2016. Sidang yang bertujuan untuk mengungkap kebenaran dari ada tidaknya kejahatan HAM pada tahun 1965 ini membuat rakyat Indonesia tersentak, karena Indonesia duduk menjadi terdakwa. Kedekatan emosional serta sejarah membuat pelaksanaan IPT ini memunculkan beragam respon. Selama masa sidang dan putusan, media berita online nasional maupun media berita online berbasis asing mengangkat IPT 1965 sebagai headline beritanya. Detik dan Republika menjadi beberapa media berita online yang menyajikan berita terkait IPT ini. Cnnindonesia.com dan bbc.com/Indonesia menjadi media berbasis asing di Indonesia yang juga mengangkat IPT ini sebagai headline beritanya. Keempat media memiliki cara pandang sendiri dalam membingkai IPT 1965 ini. Hal tersebut tampak dari konten yang menonjolkan respon ataupun IPT itu sendiri Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitaif untuk memahami serta menafsirkan fenomena yang tersaji dalam pemberitaan IPT 1965. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses pembingkaian dalam proses produksi berita dan bagaimana faktor internal maupun luar media mempengaruhi proses tersebut. Maka dari itu penelitian ini menggunakan metode Analisis Framing model Pan dan Kosicki. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dalam penelitian ini, terdapat konstruksi realitas yang coba dibangun oleh masing-masing media. Detik.com dan republika.co.id menunjukan keberpihakan pada sikap pemerintah Indonesia yang menolak pelaksanaan IPT 1965. Pada cnnindonesia.com dan bbc.com/Indonesia terlihat lebih cenderung berpihak kepada pelaksanaan IPT 1965. Perbedaan tersebut dipengaruhi oleh pihak internal maupun eksternal media. Media nasional selalu menojolkan respon penolakan dari dalam negeri dengan menampilkan fakta-fakta sejarah masa lalu. Sementara itu, media online asing lebih cenderung pada pelaksanaan IPT 1965 dengan menampilkan tema lebih luas. Baik dari kisah-kisah para saksi kejadian 1965 ataupun pentingnya IPTini digelar.
English Abstract
International People’s Tribunal 1965 were being held in November 10th to 13th 2015, and verdict was being read on July 20th 2016. The trial that has a purpose to unravel the truth behind a crimes of human right are making Indonesians shocked, because the result pointed Indonesia as thedefedant. The history an emotional aspect triggered many responses not only from Indonesians, but from ather countries as well. When the trial were held back then, a lot of online based news portal making 1965 IPT as a news headline. For example there’s each other media as foreign online news portal. Both of the news portal have a different perspective in framing the IPT 1965 news. Both of difference showed from the content of each online based news portal. The methods that used in this research is qualitative in order to find out an understand the meaning of International People’s Tribunal news. The purpose of the research are to find out how framing works within the production of a news and how the internal or external factor influence the process itself. So the researcher find it best to use the Pan & Kosicki Analytical Framing Methods. According the result of this research, there is construction of reality which try to be built by each media. Detik and Republika does shows a favouritism towards the Indonesia Government who refuse the IPT 1965 being held. On foreign online news portal showed the favouritism towards agreeing the IPT 1965 being held. These things happened because there are different point of views on seeing IPT 1965 with 1965’s tragedy. The different point of views are influenced by the internal and external side of media. Detik.com and republika.co.id are always making a statement of how Indonesians refusing the IPT 1965 by showing the facts from previous history. Meanwhile, cnnindonesia.com and bbc.com/Indonesia are showing wide variety of themes, like the story from witnesses or the importances of this IPT 1965.
