Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara school well being dengan stres pada siswa di SMP full day school kota Malang. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif korelasional. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah convenience sampling dengan sampel sejumlah 306 siswa. Alat ukur yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan skala yang disusun oleh peneliti sendiri. Skala yang digunakan adalah skala school well being yang mengacu pada teori Konu dan Rimpela (2002) dan skala stres pada siswa yang mengacu pada teori Desmita (2009). Hasil analisis pada penelitian ini menunjukkan (p-value sebesar 0,0001, p < 0,05) dengan nilai korelasi r sebesar -0,646, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara school well being dengan stres pada siswa di SMP full day school kota Malang. Nilai korelasi antara dua variabel penelitian ini juga menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang negatif antara school well being dengan stres pada siswa di SMP full day school kota Malang.

English Abstract

The aim of this study is to identify the relation between school wellbeing and the students' stress in full day-junior high school. This is a quantitative correlational research. The sample was taken through convenince sampling technique with 306 students as samples. The measurement used in this study were a scale modified by the researcher based on the school well-being theory by Konu and Rimpela (2002) and a stress scale for the students based on the theory of Desmita (2009). The result of the analysis presented that (with p value of 0.0001, p<0.05) with the correlation value of r = -0.646 so, it can be concluded that there is a significant relation between the school wellbeing and the stress rate of the students in full day-junior high school. Correlation value between the two variables in this research turned out to be negative among the students in full day-junior high school in Malang.
