Abstract
Struktur mikro secara langsung digunakan dalam wacana. Dengan menggunakan mikrostruktur, tindakan apa yang benar-benar diungkapkan Gus Dur melalui ujarannya bisa dikenali. Penelitian ini menganalisis struktur mikro dalam wawancara Gus Dur tentang kepresidenannya. Mikrostruktur menggambarkan makna lokal melalui kata-kata, frase, klausa, kalimat, dan hubungan antara kalimat (Van Dijk, 1998). Studi ini menggambarkan makna lokal dalam ucapan Gus Dur. Studi ini menyajikan data dari aspek semantik struktur mikro untuk mengetahui tujuan tindakan Gus Dur. Studi ini berbeda dengan penelitian sebelumnya karena menggunakan teori Van Dijk dan Searle. Penelitian ini menyajikan cara baru untuk menganalisis mikrostruktur dengan menggunakan teori analisis tindakan ilokusi oleh Searle (1979) sekaligus untuk mendukung 'Tindakan' dari wacana tersebut. Pemikiran humanisme, yang mendasari tindakan positif Gus Dur terhadap pemecatannya digunakan. Enam nilai humanism Gus Dur adalah ketuhanan, kemanusiaan, keadilan, persamaan, kebebasan, dan kearifan lokal. Kemudian, kepemimpinannya layak diapresiasi sebagai kepemimpinan karismatik karena tindakan positifnya (humanisme). Teori kepemimpinan dan karisma (Weberian) digunakan untuk menganalisis pemikiran dan sejarah kepresidenan Gus Dur. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Gus Dur menggunakan tindakan positif terhadap pemecatannya dan orang-orang yang melawannya. Hal itu terjadi karena pemikiran humanisnya dan kepemimpinan karismatiknya. Penelitian ini hanya menggunakan teori struktur mikro dari Van Dijk dan teori Searle sebagai tambahannya. Selanjutnya, penelitian ini menggunakan wawancara (bahasa lisan) sebagai sumber data. Oleh karena itu, peneliti menyarankan agar peneliti selanjutnya membahas lebih detail tentang Gus Dur dengan menggunakan keseluruhan teori Teun Van Dijk (struktur makro, mikrostruktur dan suprastruktur). Penelitian selanjutnya bisa menggunakan buku atau artikel, yang ditulis oleh Gus Dur dan pidatonya sekaligus melengkapi datanya.
English Abstract
Microstructures are directly ‘expressed’ structures of discourse. By using microstructures, what actions are really expressed by Gus Dur through his utterances can be identified. This study analyzes microstructure in Gus Dur’s interview on his presidency. Microstructure describes the local meaning through words, phrases, clauses, sentences, and connections between sentences (Van Dijk, 1998). This study describes the local meanings in Gus Dur’s utterances. This study presents the data of semantic aspects of microstructures to know the purpose of Gus Dur’s actions. This study is different from the previous studies because it used theory of Van Dijk and Searle theory. It presents a new way to analyse the microstructures by providing the reader with illocutionary act analysis by Searle (1979) as well to support the ‘Actions’ of the discourse. Humanism thought, which underlies Gus Dur’s positive actions towards his dismissal, is used. Six values of Gus Dur are divinity, humanity, justice, equality, liberty, and local wisdom. Then, his leadership is worth appreciating as a charismatic leadership due to his positive (humanism) actions. Weberian leadership and charisma theories were employed to analyze cognition and the history of Gus Dur’s presidency. The findings show that Gus Dur uses the positive acts toward his dismissal and people who against him. It happens due to his humanism thought and his charismatic leadership. This study only uses microstructure theory of Van Dijk in addition to Searle theory. Furthermore, it used an interview (spoken language) as the data. Therefore, the researcher suggests for the future researchers to discuss more detail about the whole theory of Teun Van Dijk (macrostructures, microstructures and superstructures). The next research could use books or articles, which is written by Gus Dur and his speech as well to complete the data.
