Abstract

Skizofrenia merupakan penyakit mental yang dapat mempengaruhi kehidupan dan menyebabkan penderitanya menarik diri dari kehidupan sosial. Penyakit ini dapat terjadi karena trauma dimasalalu, dan hubungan yang tidak baik dengan orang lain. Skizofrenia merupakan topik yang sering dipakai dalam suatu karya sastra, termasuk pada drama korea. Penelitian ini mengaji gambaran skizofrenia berupa gejala dan faktor yang mempengaruhi tokoh utama dari drama korea It’s Okay That’s Love yaitu Jang Jae Yeol. Pendekatan psikologis oleh Sigmund Freud digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Gejala yang ditemukan pada penderita skizofrenia adalah gejala positif, negatif, dan kognitif. Hasil penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa Jang Jae Yeol menderita skizofrenia dengan, halusinasi, asosialitas dan pembicaraan kacau. Penyebab skizofrenianya disebabkan oleh emosi yang bahagia dan pengalaman trauma antara anak dan orangtua.

English Abstract

Schizophrenia is a mental illness that can affect life and cause sufferers to withdraw from social life. This illness can occur due to past trauma, and a bad relationship with other people. Schizophrenia is a topic that is often used in a literary work, including in Korean dramas. This study examines the description of schizophrenia in the form of symptoms and triggers that arise the main character of the Korean drama It's Okay That’s Love, namely Jang Jae Yeol. The method used in this study is a descriptive method using a psychological approach by Sigmund Freud. Symptoms found in people with schizophrenia are positive, negative, and cognitive symptoms. The results of this study prove that Jang Jae Yeol suffers from schizophrenia with hallucinations, asosiality and disorganized speech.. His schizophrenia symptoms are caused by happy emotion and traumatic experiences between children and parents.
