Abstract
Singkong (Manihot esculenta Crantz) adalah tanaman umbi yang memiliki kandungan karbohidrat ‘utama setelah’ tanaman jagung dan padi, serta sebagai bahan | baku,-utama “ didalam. / industri. tepung; tapioka.— “ Tanaman « singkong membutuhkan..unsur -hara. yang -banyak. di. dalam budidaya,. sehingga-kegiatan budidaya dilakukan secara intensif dalam jangka waktu lama dapat menimbulkan rendahnya hara yang terkandung di dalam tanah. Pada umumnya masyarakat Desa Bandar Agung melakukan budidaya tanaman singkong menggunakan alat mekanis seperti traktor; serta penggunaan pupuk anorganik 'sécara’ terus ‘menerus' yang sudah berlangsung: lama., Pengolahan -lahan secara |intensif didalam kegiatan budidaya tanaman. singkong, yang rsering. terjadi; saat, ini;.dilakukan, untuk meningkatkan produksi dan efesiensi. Pengolahan tanah secara konvensional yang beralih menggunakan alat mekanisasi dan penggunaan pupuk anorganik didalam praktek' ‘budidaya “ dapat ' ‘mengakibatkan' - permasalahan’ “tanah " salah” satunya penurunan’ “sifat “fisik “ tanah. '/ Penggunaan “traktor rtoda" empat: sebagai “alat mekanisasi ~dalam- pengolahan -tanah -memiliki dampak- negatif |yang, dapat mengakibatkan ;pemadatan tanah. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini -diambil untuk melihat perbedaan sifat fisik tanah pada lahan singkong dengan-melakukan percobaan lintasan 0, 2, 4, 6 kali pada tiga petakan lahan masing-masing penambahan organik 0, 4, dan 8 ton/ha. Kegiatan penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan maret 2023 sampai dengan bulan april2023:di lahan perkebunan singkong ' rakyat di- Desa: Bandar / Agung Kecamatan Terusan Nunyai Kabupaten Lampung Tengah; Penelitian ini-dilakukan atas beberapa tahap yaitu persiapan lahan percobaan, masa inkubasi; wi lintasan dan pengambilan sampel tanah, analisis laboratorium, analisis data. Penambahan bahan-organik yang diamati meliputi: 1) ‘tanpa kompos, 2) kompos 4 tor/ha, 3) kompos 8 ton/ha ‘dan pengujian’ jumlah intensitas' lintasan’ yang 'diamatiz'1) tanpa lintasan; 2) 2/lintasan, 3) 4 lintasan, 4)-6 lintasan. Analisis sampel tanah dilakukan di- Laboratorium, -Fisika . Tanah Fakultas, - Pertanian Universitas ” Brawijaya: Pengamatan yang, diamati meliputi: Nilai kadar air tanah, berat isi; berat jenis, porositas, tahanan penetrasi, dan ground pressure. Data yang diperoleh diolah dengan analisis sidik ragam pada taraf nyata 5% dan uji DMRT (Duncan Multiple Range Test) menggunakan Microsoft Excel 2019. Tekstur tanah-yang ditemukan pada lahan percobaan yaitu pasir berlempung; Pengaruh jumlah lintasan dan dosis kompos berpengaruh terhadap kadar air tanah; berat isi, berat jenis, tahanan penetrasi; berpengaruh nyata (p>0,05), namun pada ground pressure tidak berpengaruh nyata (p<0,05). Jumlah lintasan dengan intensitas rendah 2 lintasan dan bahan organik dengan penambahan dosis yang tinggi- 8' ton/ha “ memiliki . pengaruh” ‘terhadap ' upaya ' ‘mengurangi ' terjadinya pemadatan - tanah: “di” lahan -perkebunan singkong. ' Tahanan penetrasi/ tanah meningkat, berbanding lurus -dengan 'meningkatnya jumlah lintasan traktor ~dan berbanding terbalik dengan penambahan dosis kompos:, Nilaitertinggi tahanan penetrasi. pada perlakuan KOL6 sebesar 3,56 kgf/cm?®, sedangkan nilai terendah tahanan penetrasi pada perlakuan K8L2 sebesar 1,55 kgf/cm?.
English Abstract
Cassava' (Manihot esculenta Crantz) is a root 'crop which has the main carbohydrate'content after'maize and rice as‘well as the main raw material in‘the tapioca flour industry.; Cassava plants-require a lot of nutrients in-cultivation; s0 that, cultivation; activities carried. out iintensively, for a long, time .can cause low nutrients contained in. the soil. In general, the people of Bandar Agung Village cultivate cassava plants using mechanical devices such as tractors, as well as the continuous ‘use 'of inorganic fertilizers that have been going on for a long time: Intensive' land management in'cassava ‘cultivation activities which 'often'occurs today is, carried out torincrease production and, efficiency. Conventional tillage that, switches. to using mechanized tools and;the use of inorganic fertilizers, in cultivation practices can cause soil problems, one of which is a decrease in soil physical properties. The use of four-wheeled tractors as a mechanization tool in tillage has a negative impact which can tesult in soil compaction. Therefore, this study was taken to look at'differences in’soil physical properties in cassava fields by conducting-0; 2,4} 6 trajectory experiments on three plots of land with organic additions of 0,-4.and 8 tonnes/ha respectively. This research activity was carried out from March 2023 to April 2023 on the people's cassava plantation land in Bandar Agung Village, Terusan Nunyai Distriet, Central Tampung Regency. This research was' carried out m several stages, namely preparation of the ‘experimental field, incubation period, trajectory testing| and-soil :sampling, laboratory: analysis; data / analysis: ' The addition of organic, matter- observed included: 1) without eompost, 2) compost 4 tons/ha, 3) compost 8 tons/ha and testing the number of lanes intensity observed: 1) without lanes, 2) 2 lanes, 3) 4 lanes, 4) 6 passes. Analysis of soil samples was carried out at the Laboratory of Soil Physics; Faculty of Agriculture, University of Brawijaya. Observations observed included: Value of soil water content, bulk density, specific grayity, porosity, penetration resistance; and-ground pressure:; The: data obtained was, processed- by, analysis of variance at,5%; significance level and the DMRT (Duncan Multiple Range Test) test using Microsoft Excel 2019. The texture of the soil found in the ‘experimental area was loamy sand. The effect of the number of passes and the dose of compost had an effect on soil water content] 'bulk ‘density, specific /gravity, ‘penetration resistance; had a 'sighificant effect (p>0.05), but on ground pressure it had no significant effect( p<0:05).:The number-of tracks, with low intensity Jof 2, tracks and, organic -matter-with- the addition of a high dose of 8 tons/ha has an influence on efforts to reduce soil compaction in cassava plantations. Soil penetration resistance increased directly proportional to the number of tractor passes and’ inversely proportional to the increasing’ dose of ‘compost. The highest'value of penetration'resistance’in'the KOL6 'treatment ~was' '3:56 kgffcm2, while ' the lowest -value of “penetration resistance in the K8L2 treatment was 1.55 kgf/em2.
