Abstract
Tanaman kopi (Coffea sp.) merupakan tanaman perkebunan yang memiliki nilai ekonomis yang tinggi. Kabupaten Malang merupakan salah satu wilayah di Jawa Timur yang turut menyumbang hasil produksi kopi. Kecamatan wajak merupakan salah satu kecamatan di Kabupaten Malang yang memiliki potensi untuk menghasilkan kopi. Namun, hasil produksi kopi di Kecamatan Wajak pada tahun 2017 – 2018 tidak mengalami peningkatan. Kondisi tanah di Kecamatan Wajak memiliki tekstur dominan pasir. Karakteristik tanah berpasir yaitu memiliki daya simpan air yang rendah dan rentan terjadinya erosi. Hal ini dapat menurunkan kesuburan tanah akibat hilangnya unsur hara dalam tanah. Oleh karena itu, dilakukan pengaplikasian Lubang Resapan Biopori (LRB) dengan penambahan pupuk kandang kambing dan kapur pertanian yang diharapkan mampu meningkatkan C-organik, N, dan P tanah sehingga berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan hasil produksi kopi. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Juni 2022 hingga Februari 2023 yang berlokasi di Desa Codo, Bambang dan Sumberputih, Kecamatan Wajak. Pengambilan sampel tanah dilakukan pada 2 dan 8 bulan setelah aplikasi dimana parameter pengamatan yang diuji adalah C-organik, N-total, P-tersedia dan pH tanah. Sedangkan, pengamatan parameter tanaman dilakukan pada 8 bulan setelah aplikasi dengan parameter yang diuji adalah jumlah klorofil, kadar N-daun, kadar P-daun dan produksi buah kopi. Analisis sifat kimia tanah dilakukan di Laboratorium Kimia Tanah, Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Brawijaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan RAK dengan lima perlakuan dan lima ulangan. Analisis data dilakukan dengan analisis ragam yaitu Analisis of Variance (ANOVA) yang dilanjutkan dengan uji lanjut Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT). Selain itu juga dilakukan uji korelasi dan regresi linier sederhana dan berganda. Penambahan pupuk kandang kambing dan kapur pertanian pada lubang resapan biopori dapat meningkatkan kandungan C-organik sebesar 25.80 %, N-total sebesar 33.33 % dan P Bray-1 sebesar 34.51 % dalam tanah pada kedalaman 0 – 20 cm, 20 – 40 cm dan 40 – 60 cm dibandingkan dengan perlakuan kontrol. Penambahan pupuk kandang kambing dan kapur pertanian pada lubang resapan biopori meningkatkan produksi buah kopi sebesar 44.76% dibandingkan dengan perlakuan kontrol. Berdasarkan hasil uji regresi linier berganda didapatkan hasil bahwa adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara produksi tanaman (Y) dengan kandungan P-tersedia (0 – 20 cm) (X1), C-organik (20 – 40 cm) (X2), P-tersedia (40 – 60 cm) (X3), P-daun (X4) dan kandungan klorofil (X5) dengan urutan pengaruh terhadap produksi yaitu X1 > X3 > X4 > X2 > X5. Persamaan regresi yang didapatkan yaitu Y= -1909.7 + 15.1622 X1 + 241.466 X2 + 25.1789 X3 + 6663.64 X4 + 1.02036 X5; R2= 0.70512; Sig F= 0.00077. Saran dari penelitian ini yaitu perlu dilakukan penelitian lebih lanjut dengan dosis pupuk kandang kambing dan kapur pertanian serta berbagai macam dosis untuk mengetahui dosis terbaik untuk pertumbuhan dan perkembangan tanaman kopi.
English Abstract
Coffee plants (Coffea sp.) are plantation crops that have high economic value. Malang Regency is one of the regions in East Java which contributes to coffee production. Wajak sub-district is one of the sub-districts in Malang Regency which has the potential to produce coffee. However, coffee production in Wajak District in 2017 – 2018 did not increase. Soil conditions in Wajak District have a dominant texture of sand. The characteristics of sandy soils are that they have low water holding capacity and are prone to erosion. This can reduce soil fertility due to loss of nutrients in the soil. Therefore, the application of Biopore Infiltration Holes (LRB) was carried out with the addition of goat manure and agricultural lime which is expected to be able to increase soil C-organic, N and P so that it affects the increase in coffee production. This research was conducted from June 2022 to February 2023 which are located in the villages of Codo, Bambang and Sumberputih, Wajak District. Soil sampling was carried out at 2 and 8 months after application where the observed parameters tested were organic-C, total-N, available-P and soil pH. Meanwhile, observations of plant parameters were carried out 8 months after application with the parameters tested being the amount of chlorophyll, N-leaf content, P-leaf content and coffee berry production. Analysis of soil chemical properties was carried out at the Soil Chemistry Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Brawijaya University. This study used RAK with five treatments and five replications. Data analysis was performed by analysis of variance, namely Analysis of Variance (ANOVA), followed by the Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT). In addition, correlation tests and simple and multiple linear regression were also carried out. The addition of goat manure and agricultural lime in biopori infiltration holes can increase the C-organic content by 25.80%, N-total by 33.33% and P Bray-1 by 34.51% in soil at depths of 0-20 cm, 20-40 cm and 40 – 60 cm compared to the control treatment. The addition of goat manure and agricultural lime to the biopori infiltration holes increased coffee cherries production by 44.76% compared to the control treatment. Based on the results of multiple linear regression tests, it was found that there was a significant relationship between plant production (Y) and the content of available-P (0-20 cm) (X1), organic-C (20-40 cm) (X2), available-P (40 – 60 cm) (X3), P-leaf (X4) and chlorophyll content (X5) in order of effect on production, namely X1 > X3 > X4 > X2 > X5. The regression equation obtained is Y = -1909.7 + 15.1622 X1 + 241.466 X2 + 25.1789 X3 + 6663.64 X4 + 1.02036 X5; R2= 0.70512; Sig F = 0.00077. The suggestion from this study is that it is necessary to carry out further research with doses of goat manure and agricultural lime and various doses to determine the best dosage for the growth and development of coffee plants.
