Abstract
PT. X merupakan salah satu industri manufaktur yang mengolah susu segar menjadi berbagai macam produk. Proses produksi dilakukan perusahaan tersebut secara kontinu. Persediaan bahan berbahaya dan beracun (B3) perlu dikendalikan untuk menunjang kelancaran proses produksi. Analisis kinerja proses persediaan B3 perlu dilakukan untuk mengetahui kesesuaiannya dengan spesifikasi yang diharapkan oleh perusahaan. Spesifikasi tersebut adalah jumlah persediaan B3 harus memenuhi jumlah kebutuhan pengaman dan tidak melebihi kapasitas tempat penyimpanan. Perusahaan harus melakukan pengukuran terhadap kapabilitas proses persediaan B3 agar dapat mengetahui kinerjanya. Kapabilitas proses menginterpretasi dan menganalisis sebuah proses sehingga kinerjanya dapat diketaui dan dievaluasi. Kinerja proses persediaan B3 perlu untuk dianalisis agar tidak menghambat proses produksi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui kapabilitas proses B3, tren indeks kapabilitas B3 dan penyebab proses persediaan B3 tidak terkendali berdasarkan parameter yang telah ditetapkan PT X. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif kuantitatif. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah statistical quality control (SQC). Pengambilan data dilakukan di departemen warehouse PT X. Data yang digunakan adalah jenis data sekunder yang diperoleh dari data historis perusahaan berupa data jumlah persediaan B3 per bulan selama 5 tahun terakhir. Data tersebut dianalisis dengan menggunakan program Minitab 18. Analisis data yang dilakukan meliputi uji normalitas, uji goodness of fit, pembuatan peta kendali, analisis kapabilitas proses, dan pembuatan tren indeks kapabilitas. Analisis juga dilengkapi dengan diagram fishbone untuk mencari tahu penyebab proses persediaan B3 tidak terkendali. Batas spesifikasi bawah adalah jumlah persediaan pengaman, sedangkan batas spesifikasi atas adalah jumlah persediaan maksimum atau kapasitas tempat penyimpanan. Batasan dalam penelitian ini yaitu bahan yang dianalisis merupakan bahan berbahaya dan beracun dengan kategori fast moving, Indeks kapabilitas proses setiap bahan dihitung per tahun. Asumsi yang digunakan yaitu setiap titik yang berada di luar peta kendali dipertahankan. Hal ini karena keterbatasan data yang dimiliki dan hasil analisis menjadi saran perbaikan departemen warehouse. Analisis kapabilitas proses dilakukan dengan menggunakan bantuan software Minitab 18. Analisis dilakukan pada 6 jenis bahan berbahaya dan beracun yang digunakan dalam kegiatan perusahaan meliputi Chemical Nalco 3DT 265, Chemical Nalco 2593, Chemical Nalco 90001, 460-S5034 Sulfite Titrant, SOLUTION TP-1 reagent 460-SH357, dan SOLUTION XP-2 Reagent 460-S5091. Data proses persediaan bahan telah mengikuti distribusi normal kecuali pada data persediaan chemical nalco 2593 tahun 2021 dan data persediaan chemical nalco 90001 pada tahun 2019. Keseluruhan data persediaan dinilai masih belum stabil. Analisis kapabilitas proses persediaan bahan berbahaya dan beracun di PT X memperoleh hasil yaitu sebagian besar nilai indeks kapabilitas berada di bawah 1. Nilai indeks kapabilitas yang rendah disebabkan oleh penerapan sistem FEFO dan prosedur pengadaan bahan. Bahan seharusnya disusun dari depan ke belakang berdasarkan tanggal kedaluwarsa yang paling dekat hingga paling lama, namun peletakan bahan yang dilakukan oleh pekerja masih belum sesuai dengan sistem standar. Pekerja seringkali mengambil bahan yang paling depan atau paling atas tanpa memperhatikan tanggal kedaluwarsanya terlebih dahulu. Hal tersebut menyebabkan penumpukan bahan kedaluwarsa selama penyimpanan. User dan departemen PPIC juga dinilai masih belum tepat dalam memperkirakan jumlah kebutuhan bahan sehingga sering ditemui jumlah persediaan berada di bawah nilai safety stock bahan
English Abstract
PT. X is a manufacturing industry that processes fresh milk into various products. The production process is carried out by the company continuously. Inventories of hazardous and toxic materials (Hazmat) need to be controlled to support the smooth production process. Analysis of the performance of the hazmat inventory process needs to be carried out to determine its suitability with the specifications expected by the company. The specification is that the amount of hazmat inventory must meet the number of safety requirements and not exceed the capacity of the storage area. The company must measure the capability of the hazmat inventory process in order to know its performance. Process capability to interpret and analyze the results of a process that has been carried out so that the performance of a process can be known and evaluated. The performance of the hazmat inventory process needs to be analyzed so as not to hamper the production process. The purpose of this study is to determine the capability of the hazmat process, the trend of the hazmat capability index and the cause of the uncontrolled hazmat inventory process based on the parameters set by PT X. This research is descriptive quantitative. The method used in this study is statistical quality control (SQC). Data retrieval was carried out in the warehouse department of PT X. The data used was a type of secondary data obtained from the company's historical data in the form of data on the amount of hazmat inventory per month for the last 5 years. The data were analyzed using the Minitab 18 program. The data analysis carried out included normality test, goodness of fit test, control chart creation, process capability analysis, and trending capability index. The analysis is also equipped with a fishbone diagram which is used to find out the cause of the uncontrolled hazmat inventory process. The lower specification limit is the amount of safety stock, while the upper specification limit is the maximum amount of inventory or storage capacity. The limitation in this study is that the material analyzed is a hazardous and toxic material with a fast moving category, the process capability index of each material is calculated annually, using the assumption that every point that is outside the control chart is maintained due to the limited data available and the results of the analysis become suggestions for improvement. warehouse department. Process capability analysis was carried out using the Minitab 18 software. The analysis was carried out on 6 types of hazardous and toxic materials used in the company's activities including Chemical Nalco 3DT 265, Chemical Nalco 2593, Chemical Nalco 90001, 460-S5034 Sulfite Titrant, SOLN TP-1 reagent 460-SH357, and SOLN XP-2 Reagent 460- S5091. Material inventory process data has followed a normal distribution except for chemical inventory data for nalco 2593 in 2021 and inventory data for chemical nalco 90001 in 2019. However, the overall inventory data is still not stable. Analysis of the process capability of hazardous and toxic materials inventory at PT X obtained the results that most of the capability index values were below 1. The low value of the capability index is caused by 2 dominant causes, namely the implementation of the FEFO system and material procurement procedures. Materials should be arranged from front to back based on the closest to the longest expiration date, however, the laying of materials made by workers is still not in accordance with the system applied. Workers often take the first or the top material without paying attention to the expiration date first. This causes a buildup of expired material during storage. In addition, users and the PPIC department are still not precise in estimating the amount of material needed so it is often found that the amount of inventory is below the material safety stock value
