Abstract
Virus corona pertama kali terkonfirmasi sebagai pandemi pada tanggal 12 Maret 2020 dan per tahun 2020 dinyatakan bahwa prevalensi kenaikan wabah di Malang adalah sebanyak 27 orang per hari. Terdapat permasalahan dalam sektor ekonomi, kesehatan, dan kehidupan sosial yang terganggu akibat pandemi, dan salah satu cara penyelesaiannya adalah tergantung oleh tipe kepribadian masing-masing. Salah satu teori kepribadian adalah Big Five Personality yang dibagi menjadi tipe extraversion, agreeableness, conscientiousness, neuroticism, dan openness. Makanan sehat diketahui banyak dipilih oleh seseorang dengan tipe kepribadian conscientiousness, sementara itu terdapat banyak faktor pemilihan lain yang dapat dijadikan preferensi masing-masing. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara tipe kepribadian teori Big Five Personality terhadap faktor pemilihan makanan selingan pada mahasiswa kesehatan Universitas Brawijaya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode analitik observasional dengan desain cross sectional untuk mengetahui hubungan dan menganalisis hubungan antar variabel. Pengambilan data melalui kuesioner online. Dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 97 orang, hasil penelitian menunjukkan 43 orang (44%) mahasiswa tergolong dalam tipe agreeableness dan terdapat tiga alasan utama dalam pemilihan makanan selingan yaitu kesehatan, kenyamanan, dan penampakan sensoris. Analisis data menggunakan uji koefisien kontigensi dengan p < 0,05 dan Cl 95% menyatakan ada hubungan signifikan dengan nilai p=0,031 dan r=0,385 antara tingkat tipe kepribadian teori Big Five Personality dan faktor pemilihan makanan selingan.
English Abstract
The corona virus was first confirmed as a pandemic on March 12th 2020 and it was stated that the prevalence of the outbreak in Malang was increasing by 27 people per day. There are problems in the economic, health and social life sectors that have been disrupted due to the pandemic, and one way to solve them is depending on each personality type. One personality theory is the Big Five Personality which is divides into extraversion, agreeableness, conscientiousness, neuroticism, and openness. It is known that healthy food is widely chosen by someone with a conscientiousness personality type, meanwhile there are many other selection factors that can be used as their individual preferences. This study aims to determine the relationship between the personality types of the Big Five Personality theory and the selection of snack factors in health students of Brawijaya University. The research method used is observational analytic method with cross sectional design to determine the relationship and analyze the relationship between variables. Data collection through online questionnaires. A total of 97 respondents from Brawijaya University health students filled out questionnaires and 43 people (44%) belonged to the agreeableness type and there were three main reasons for choosing a snack, namely health, comfort, and sensory appearance. Data analysis using contingency coefficient with p < 0,05 and Cl 95% revealed that there was a significant relationship with a value of p=0.031 and r=-0.385 between the level of personality types in the Big Five Personality theory and the selection factor for snack foods.
