Abstract
Diet tinggi fruktosa merupakan pola makan tinggi fruktosa yang ditandai dengan asupan fruktosa yang dikonsumsi lebih dari 25% kebutuhan energi per hari atau sekitar 85 g fruktosa. Konsumsi fruktosa yang berlebihan khususnya dalam bentuk HFCS secara terus menerus dalam jangka panjang dapat menimbulkan dampak negatif bagi kesehatan seperti dislipidemia, obesitas, hipertensi, maupun resitensi insulin. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian serbuk daun kelor terhadap kadar HDL serum pada tikus wistar (Rattus norvegicus) yang diinduksi diet tinggi fruktosa. Penelitian ini merupakan studi eksperimental dengan pendekatan post test only control group design yang dilakukan pada sejumlah 35 ekor tikus jantan wistar yang dibagi menjadi Kelompok kontrol (K0) diberikan pakan standar dan minum ad libitum, Kelompok kontrol diabetes (E1) diberikan sonde fruktosa 66% selama 16 minggu, Kelompok kontrol pre-diabetes (E2) diberikan sonde fruktosa 66% selama 12 minggu, Kelompok intervensi kuersetin (E3) diberikan sonde kuersetin 50 mg/kg BB + sonde fruktosa, Kelompok intervensi serbuk daun kelor (E4) diberikan sonde serbuk daun kelor 500 mg/kg BB + sonde fruktosa. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan asupan makan dan perubahan berat badan, namun terdapat perbedaan kadar HDL serum yang signifikan antara kelompok perlakuan. Kadar HDL tertinggi pada kelompok kontrol prediabetes. Kesimpulan penelitian adalah pemberian serbuk daun kelor dapat mengubah kadar HDL serum hewan coba.
English Abstract
High-fructose diet is characterized by the intake of fructose which is consumed by more than 25% of energy needs per day or around 85 g of fructose. Excessive consumption of fructose, especially in the form of HFCS continuously in the long term can have negative effects on health such as dyslipidemia, obesity, hypertension, and insulin resistance. This study was conducted to determine the effect of moringa leaf powder administration on serum HDL levels in Wistar rats (Rattus norvegicus) induced by a high-fructose diet. This research is an experimental study with a post-test only control group design approach which was carried out on several 35 male Wistar rats, which were divided into groups (K0) given standard control feed and drinking ad libitum, diabetes control group (E1) given sonde 66% fructose for 16 weeks, The pre-diabetic control group (E2) was given 66% fructose for 12 weeks, The quercetin intervention group (E3) was given 50 mg/kg BW quercetin + fructose probe, The Moringa leaf powder intervention group (E4) given a probe of moringa leaf powder 500 mg/kg BW + fructose probe. The results of this study indicated that there were no differences in food intake and changes in body weight, but there were significant differences in serum HDL levels between the treatment groups. The highest HDL level was in the prediabetic control group. The conclusion of the study was that the administration of moringa leaf powder could change serum HDL levels of experimental animals.
