Abstract

Kentang merupakan tanaman nonserelia dengan produksi tertinggi di dunia. Selain itu kentang menunjukkan kandungan gizi yang memadai untuk dijadikan sumber kalori dan mineral seperti karbohidrat, protein, vitamin dan mineral seperti thiamin, riboflavin, vitamin A, C dan K, fosfor, mangan serta magnesium. Pada produksi kentang, penyediaan bibit yang berkualitas serta terjangkau penting dilakukan. Salah satunya dengan cara pemilihan jenis pupuk yang tepat pada pembibitan, seperti G1. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan upaya untuk menentukan kebutuhan setiap nutrisi, terutama hara makro esensial, pada setiap tahap pertumbuhan tanaman kentang. Penelitian ini bertujuan menentukan kebutuhan nitrogen dan fosfor pada setiap fase pertumbuhan tanaman serta mengetahui serapan unsur hara dari berbagai jenis pupuk. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan September 2019 sampai bulan Desember 2019 di lahan percobaan PT Internasional BISI Tbk. Desa Ngroto, Kecamatan Pujon, Kabupaten Malang, Provinsi Jawa Timur. Penelitian dilaksanakan di greenhouse menggunakan polybag dengan menerapkan Rancangan Acak Kelompok Faktorial (RAK-F), terdiri dari 2 faktor: dimana faktor pertama adalah varietas kentang Granola L dan Sangkuriang, dan faktor kedua adalah jenis pupuk: pupuk NPK 16:16:16, kombinasi pupuk tunggal (NH4)2PO4, KNO3, dan KH2PO4, dan pupuk AB mix. Sehingga dihasilkan 6 kombinasi perlakuan, dengan 4 ulangan. Setiap unit perlakuan terdapat 20 tanaman, sehingga total keseluruhan terdapat 480 tanaman. Variabel pengamatan meliputi panjang tanaman, jumlah daun, luas daun, bobot segar tanaman, bobot kering tanaman, bobot kering umbi, dan serapan unsur hara N dan P. Analisa data kuantitatif menggunakan ANOVA (Analysis of Variance). Jika hasil F hitung berbeda nyata, maka akan dilakukan uji lanjut beda nyata terkecil (BNT) dengan taraf 5%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa Varietas Granola dan Sangkuriang memberikan respon yang berbeda akibat pemberian jenis pupuk (NPK, pupuk tunggal (KNO3, ZA, KP), AB mix) terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman (tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, luas daun, bobot segar tanaman, bobot kering tanaman) dan hasil (jumlah umbi, bobot segar umbi dan bobot kering umbi). Varietas Granola dan Sangkuriang memberikan respon yang berbeda terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman. Untuk hasil umbi (jumlah umbi per tanaman), pada varietas granola pupuk tunggal menunjukkan hasil jumlah umbi yang sama dengan pupuk AB mix, sedangkan pada varietas sangkuriang pupuk NPK dan pupuk pupuk tunggal menunjukkan hasil yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan pupuk AB mix

English Abstract

Potato is a non-cereal crop with the highest production in the world. In addition, potatoes show adequate nutritional content to be used as a source of calories and minerals such as carbohydrates, protein, vitamins and minerals such as thiamin, riboflavin, vitamins A, C and K, phosphorus, manganese and magnesium. Comparison of carbohydrate content in rice and potatoes is not too different. Many of the studies that have been carried out study the dosage of fertilization and do not study the needs of each type of nutrient at each stage of potato plant growth. Therefore, it is necessary to determine the need for each nutrient, especially the essential macronutrients, at each stage of potato plant growth. This research specifically aims to determine the needs of nitrogen and phosphorus in each phase of plant growth and to determine the absorption of nutrients from various types of fertilizers. This research was conducted from September 2019 to December 2019 at the PT Internasional BISI Tbk experimental field. Ngroto Village, Pujon District, Malang Regency, East Java Province. The materials used were potato seeds of the Granola L variety and the Sangkuriang variety, AB mix fertilizer, NPK 16:16:16 fertilizer, KNO3, ZA, KP (single fertilizer). This research was conducted in a green house using polybags by applying a Factorial Randomized Block Design (RAL-F). It consists of 2 factors, namely the first factor consists of two levels, namely potato varieties Granola L and Sangkuriang, the second factor consists of three levels, namely NPK 16:16:16 fertilizer, a combination of single fertilizer (NH4)2PO4, KNO3, and KH2PO4, and fertilizer AB mix to produce 6 treatment combinations. The experiment used 4 repetitions to produce 24 experimental plots. Each experimental plot unit contained 20 plants, bringing a total of 480 plants. The observed variables included plant length, number of leaves, leaf area, plant fresh weight, plant dry weight, tuber dry weight, and identification of macro elements N and P. Quantitative data analysis used ANOVA (Analysis of Variance). If the calculated F results are significantly different, then a further test of the smallest significant difference (LSD) will be carried out with a level of 5%. Based on the results of the research and discussion that has been carried out, it can be concluded that there is an interaction between Granola and Sangkuriang varieties with the treatment of fertilizer application on growth, the type of fertilizer treatment affects different varieties of potato plants, single fertilizer shows the same number of tubers as AB mix fertilizer while in NPK fertilizer did not show results on the Granola variety while on the Sangkuriang variety NPK fertilizer and single fertilizer showed higher yields than AB mix fertilizer, but on the fresh weight and dry weight of tubers, AB mix fertilizer showed higher results than NPK fertilizer and fertilizer single.
