Abstract
Kecamatan Wajak, Kabupaten Malang merupakan salah satu Kecamatan yang Sebagian besar masyarakatnya membudidayakan tanaman kopi. Salah satu faktor penting yang mendukung pertumbuhan dan perkembangan tanaman kopi adalah perakaran. Sifat Fisik tanah yang sesuai untuk perakaran tanaman kopi akan mendukung pertumbuhan dan perkembangan tanaman kopi. Produksi tanaman kopi di Kecamatan Wajak, Kabupaten Malang memiliki penurunan sebesar 36 ton pada tahun 2020. Akibat penurunan produksi tersebut diprediksikan bahwa lahan perkebunan kopi di Kecamatan Wajak, Kabupaten Malang kurang sesuai untuk ditanam oleh tanaman kopi. Selain analisis kesesuaian lahan zona perakaran tanaman kopi di Kecamatan Wajak, Kabupaten Malang, dilakukan analisis hubungan antara sifat fisik tanah berupa kedalaman efektif, berat isi tanah pada kedalaman 0-30 cm, berat jenis kedalaman 0-30 cm, porositas kedalaman 0-30 cm, berat isi kedalaman 30- 60 cm, berat jenis kedalaman 30-60 cm, porositas kedalaman 30-60 cm dan tekstur (persentase pasir, liat dan debu). Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Juni 2022 di Kecamatan Wajak, Kabupaten Malang, Jawa Timur. Kegiatan penelitian diawali dengan pra survei dengan melakukan pengurusan perizinan, pembuatan peta SPL (Satuan Peta Lahan) dengan peta dasar berupa jenis tanah, kemiringan lahan, dan penggunaan lahan serta penentuan titik pengamatan. Setelah itu dilanjutkan dengan kegiatan survei dengan mengamati kedalaman efektif dan pengambilan sampel tanah untuk menganalisa berat isi, berat jenis, porositas dan tekstur tanah di Laboratorium Fisika Tanah, Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Brawijaya. Setelah mendapatkan data survei maka dilakukan analisis berupa uji normalitas, uji korelasi dan uji regresi menggunakan R Studio dan Excel. Hasil Penelitian didapatkan bahwa lahan di Kecamatan Wajak, Kabupaten Malang dominan sesuai dengan zona perakaran tanaman kopi. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa kesesuaian lahan zona perakaran pada Kecamatan Wajak, Kabupaten Malang tidak mempengaruhi penurunan produksi tanaman kopi di Kecamatan Wajak, Kabupaten Malang. Selain itu berdasarkan hasil uji korelasi dan regresi Sifat fisika tanah didapatkan bahwa sifat fisik tanah yang memiliki korelasi yang signifikan dengan produksi tanaman yaitu berat isi tanah sebesar 18,58% pada kedalaman 0-30 cm dan 22% pada kedalaman 30-60 cm, berat jenis kedalaman 0-30 cm sebesar 32,29%, porositas kedalaman 30-60 cm sebesar 34,27% dan persentase fraksi pasir sebesar 41,08%. Berdasarkan hasil uji regresi berganda didapatkan bahwa sifat fisik tanah yang paling mempengaruhi produksi Tanaman Kopi di Kecamatan Wajak, Kabupaten Malang yaitu berat jenis kedalaman 0-30 cm karena dapat menurunkan 2,14 kg/100m2 produksi Tanaman Kopi di Kecamatan Wajak, Kabupaten Malang.
English Abstract
Wajak District, Malang Regency is one of the Districts where most of the people cultivate coffee plants. One of the important factors that support the growth and development of coffee plants is the roots. Soil physical properties suitable for coffee plant roots will support the growth and development of coffee plants. Coffee plant production in Wajak District, Malang Regency has decreased by 36 tons in 2020. As a result of this decrease in production it is predicted that coffee plantation land in Wajak District, Malang Regency is not suitable for coffee plantations. In addition to land suitability analysis of the coffee plant root zona in Wajak District, Malang Regency, an analysis of the relationship between the physical properties of the soil was carried out in the form of effective depth, soil bulk density at a depth of 0-30 cm, specific gravity of a depth of 0-30 cm, porosity of a depth of 0-30 cm , density 30-60 cm depth, specific gravity 30-60 cm depth, porosity 30-60 cm depth and texture (percentage of sand, clay and silt). This research was conducted in June 2022 in Wajak District, Malang Regency, East Java. Research activities began with a pre-survey by carrying out licensing arrangements, making LMU (Land Map Unit) with a basic map of soil type, land slope, and land use along with determining observation points. After that, it was continued with survey activities by observing the effective depth and taking soil samples to analyze bulk density, specific gravity, porosity and soil texture at the Soil Physics Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Brawijaya. After obtaining the survey data, an analysis was carried out in the form of a normality test, correlation test and regression test using R Studio and Excel. The results of the study found that land in Wajak District, Malang Regency was dominant according to the coffee plant root zona. So it can be concluded that the land suitability of the root zona in Wajak District, Malang Regency does not affect the decrease in coffee plant production in Wajak District, Malang Regency. In addition, based on the results of correlation and regression tests of soil physical properties, it was found that the physical properties of the soil had a significant correlation with plant production, namely the soil bulk density of 18.58% at a depth of 0-30 cm and 22% at a depth of 30-60 cm. 32.29% for 0-30 cm depth, 34.27% for 30-60 cm porosity and 41.08% for sand fraction. Based on the results of multiple regression tests, it was found that the physical properties of the soil that most influenced coffee plant production in Wajak District, Malang Regency, namely the specific gravity at a depth of 0-30 cm because it could reduce 2.14 kg/100m2 of coffee plant production in Wajak District, Malang Regency
