Putri, Sintya Agustina Eka and Syahrul Kurniawan,, SP., MP., Ph.D (2023) Ketersediaan Hara (Karbon, Nitrogen, Fosfor) Tanah,Pertumbuhan dan Produksi Tanaman Padi (Oryza sativa L.) dengan Implementasi Complex Rice System. Sarjana thesis, Universitas Brawijaya.
Abstract
English Abstract
Rice is the main food commodity with a fairly large public food consumption. Rice production in the last 3 years has fluctuated accompanied by a decrease in harvested area. The decline in rice production can affect the fulfillment of national rice consumption. In addition, East Java is known as one of the areas with high riceproducing potential, but a decrease in harvested area has also occurred so that the production of rice produced also decreases. Increasing soil fertility in paddy fields can be done by integrating rice-livestock plants (fish and ducks) or with N-fixing plants (azolla), known as the Complex Rice System. The high potential for the application of Complex Rice Systems in increasing rice production, so it is necessary to do further research on the effectiveness of the application of ducks, azolla and fish in increasing nutrient availability to increase rice production. This research was conducted from October 2021 to June 2022, located in Sukorejo Village, Gondanglegi District, Malang Regency, East Java. The stages of the research include: land preparation and planting, soil sampling, application of fish, ducks and azolla, fertilization (application of goat manure and application of inorganic fertilizers in the form of NPK, urea and ZA fertilizers), maintenance (embroidering, flooding, weeding), observing growth parameters, observing production parameters, harvesting, analyzing the availability of soil nutrients (Corganic, N-total and P-available). Sample analysis was carried out in the laboratory of the Department of Soil, Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Brawijaya. The study was conducted using a Randomized Block Design (RBD) with 6 treatments and 4 replications. Data were analyzed by means of variance and further tested by DMRT with a significance level of 5%. The results showed that the application of the Complex Rice System had a significant effect on plant height, number of tillers, number of leaves and fresh weight of plants. P2T1 treatment (inorganic fertilizer and fish) gave the highest yield with a plant height of 108.7 cm, number of tillers 21.4 tillers, number of leaves 64.2 leaves and plant fresh weight 367.07 gram. The application of the Complex Rice System has a marked effect on C-organic. The P1T3 treatment (organic fertilizer and azolla) gave the highest yield with an organic C value of 2.196%. The Complex Rice System application has a significant effect on N-total. The P2T2 treatment (inorganic fertilizer and ducks) gave the highest yield with a total N-value of 0.254%. The Complex Rice System application has a real influence on the number of productive tillers. The P2T3 treatment (inorganic fertilizer and azolla) gave the highest yield with a productive tiller value of 19.1 tillers.
