Syawaluddin Akbar (2022) Sifat Fisik Tanah dan Pertumbuhan Tanaman Padi (Oryza sativa L.) sebagai Dampak Pengaplikasian Dekomposer pada Sistem Rekomendasi Pemupukan Berbasis Citra Kamera Multispektral di Sukamandijaya, Jawa Barat. Sarjana thesis, Universitas Brawijaya.
Abstract
English Abstract
The increase in population and food needs also increase the demand for rice production. However, the declining rice yields due to various factors such as climatic conditions, soil health, and the use of inappropriate fertilizers have not been able to meet the needs of the community so that efforts are needed to increase rice production, one of which is by adding inputs to the land. The application of balanced fertilizers and the use of decomposers will improve soil health and nutrient availability for plants. The use of decomposers is thought to be able to accelerate the rate of decomposition of organic matter and be able to improve the physical, chemical, and biological qualities of the soil. Fertilization recommendation dosage can be done using digital technology such as using remote sensing images. Thus, this study was conducted to determine the impact of the application of decomposers on the application of a fertilizer recommendation system based on multispectral camera images on soil physical properties, growth, and yield of rice plants. The implementation of this research activity starts from November 2021 to April 2022 at the experimental field owned by PT. Sang Hyang Seri in Sukamandijaya Village, Ciasem District, Subang Regency, West Java. The research was carried out with 2 treatments, namely the non-decomposer treatment (P1) and with application of the decomposer treatment (P2) on rice field with the Mekongga variety. The decomposer used was Petro Gladiator that containing Trichoderma sp., Bacillus sp., Streptomyces sp., and Lactobacillus sp., which was applied once at a dose of 5 liters ha-1 before planting. The decomposer solution was sprayed on a treatment plot measuring 29 m x 56 m about 480 ml of decomposer with up to 56 liters of water (56 ml m-2 ). The independent variable in this study was the provision of decomposers, while the dependent variable in this study was on rice plant like plant height, number of tillers, flowering age, number of productive tillers, and productivity, also on soil physical properties (texture, bulk density, specific gravity, pore space total, moisture content pF 1, 2, and 4.2 as well as available pore water), and additional data in the form of soil chemical properties (pH, N-Total, PAvailable, and K-Potential). The data was then analyzed by Unpaired T test at 5% level in Microsoft Excel 2013. The results showed that the application of decomposers on multispectral camera images based fertilization recommendation system can improve soil conditions including improvements in soil bulk density, soil particle density, soil total pore space, soil moisture content pF 1, 2, and 4.2, available pore water, then soil pH, soil P-Available content and K-Potential content in the soil, as well as plant height of rice.
