Abstract
Lahan kering Alfisol adalah jenis lahan yang dapat dimanfaatkan untuk budidaya pertanian, namun kondisi lahan ini memiliki keterbatasan dalam menunjang pertumbuhan tanaman karena memiliki unsur hara kimia yang rendah seperti pH, C-organik, N-total, dan P-tersedia. Tanaman kedelai merupakan komoditas terpenting ketiga setelah padi dan jagung dalam kelompok tanaman pangan, namun seiring dengan meningkatnya jumlah penduduk Indonesia, kebutuhan akan tanaman kedelai juga mengalami peningkatan. Produksi tanaman kedelai belum mampu memenuhi kebutuhan tanaman kedelai di Indonesia yaitu 2,2 juta ton/tahun. Perlu adanya upaya aplikasi teknologi berupa pemberian Bahan Organik Tanah (BOT) berupa pupuk kandang kambing sebagai penyangga sifat kimia, fisik, dan biologi dan pupuk hayati yang mengandung Rhizobium untuk menyediakan senyawa Nitrogen agar lahan kering Alfsiol dapat optimal untuk meningkatkan produksi tanaman kedelai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh aplikasi pupuk kandang kambing dan pupuk hayati terhadap N-total dan P-tersedia serta pertumbuhan vegetatif tanaman kedelai. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Mei – Agustus 2022. Pelaksanaan kegiatan penelitian ini dilakukan di Greenhouse Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Brawijaya menggunakan kedelai Varietas Detam-1. Analisis laboratorium dilakukan di Laboratorium Kimia Tanah Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Brawijaya. Terdapat 9 perlakuan pada penelitian ini antara lain 1) P1 (kontrol), 2) P2 (Pupuk kandang kambing 5 ton ha-1), 3) P3 (Pupuk kandang kambing 10 ton ha-1), P4 (Pupuk hayati 12,5 g kg-1 benih), 5) P5 (Pupuk hayati 12,5 g kg-1 benih + Pupuk kandang kambing 5 ton ha-1), 6) P6 (Pupuk hayati 12,5 g kg-1 benih + Pupuk kandang kambing 10 ton ha-1), 7) P7 (Pupuk hayati 25 g kg-1 benih), P8) (Pupuk hayati 25 g kg-1 benih + Pupuk kandang kambing 5 ton ha-1), P9) (Pupuk hayati 25 g kg-1 benih + Pupuk kandang kambing 10 ton ha-1) yang diulang sebanyak 3 kali, serta menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL). Parameter yang diamati adalah 1) parameter sifat kimia tanah berupa pH, C-organik, N-total, dan P-tersedia, 2) parameter pertumbuhan tanaman berupa panjang tanaman, jumlah cabang batang, dan jumlah daun, 3) korelasi antar parameter yang diamati. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan analisis ragam (ANOVA) taraf 5%. Apabila berpengaruh nyata, maka dilanjutkan dengan uji Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT) taraf 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan aplikasi pupuk kandang kambing dan pupuk hayati berpengaruh nyata terhadap pH, C-organik, dan N-total tanah Alfisol, tetapi tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap P-tersedia tanah Alfisol. Perlakuan P6 memiliki nilai C-organik, N-total tertinggi dibandingkan perlakuan lainnya. Nilai pH tertinggi terdapat pada perlakuan P6 dan P9. Aplikasi pupuk kandang kambing dan pupuk hayati memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman kedelai yaitu panjang tanaman, jumlah cabang batang dan jumlah daun pada 42 HST.
English Abstract
Alfisol land is a type of land that can be used for agricultural cultivation, but the condition of this land has limitations in supporting plant growth because it has low chemical nutrients such as pH, soil organik carbon, N-total, and P-available. Soybean plants are the third most important commodity after rice and corn in the food crop group, but along with the increasing population of Indonesia, the need for soybean plants has also increased. Soybean production has not been able to meet the demand for soybeans in Indonesia, which is 2.2 million tonnes/year. One of the innovative technologies that can be applied to improve Alfisol soil fertility and increase soybean production is by applying organic matter in the form of goat manure and biological fertilizers, so this study aims to identify and analyze the effect of application of goat manure and organic fertiliser on the availability of N and P. and vegetative growth of soybean plants. This research was conducted in May – August 2022. The implementation of this research activity was carried out at the Greenhouse of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Brawijaya using soybean Detam-1 Variety. Laboratory analysis was carried out at the Laboratory of Soil Chemistry, Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Brawijaya. There were 9 treatments in this study, including 1) P1 (Control), 2) P2 (Goat manure 5 tons ha-1), 3) P3 (Goat manure 10 tons ha-1), P4 (Organic fertiliser 12.5 g kg-1 seed), 5) P5 (Goat manure 5 tons ha-1 + Organic fertiliser 12.5 g kg-1 seed), 6) P6 (Goat manure 10 tons ha-1 + Organic fertiliser 12.5 g kg-1 seed), 7) P7 (Organic fertiliser 25 g kg-1 seed), P8) (Goat manure 5 tons ha-1 + Organic fertiliser 25 g kg-1 seed), P9) (Goat manure 10 ton ha-1 + Organic fertiliser 25 g kg-1 seed) which was repeated 3 times, using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD). Parameters observed were 1) parameters of soil chemical properties in the form of pH, organic-C, total-N, and available-P, 2) plant growth parameters in the form of plant length, number of stem branches, and number of leaves. The data obtained were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA) at the 5% level. If it has a significant effect, then proceed with the 5% level Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT) test. The results showed that the application of goat manure and organic fertiliser had a significant effect on pH, Organic carbon, and N-total of Alfisol soil, but had no significant effect on P-available of Alfisol soil. The P6 treatment had the highest Organic carbon and N-total values compared to the other treatments. The highest pH values were found in the P6 and P9 treatments. The application of goat manure and organic fertiliser had a significant effect on the growth of soybean plants, namely the plant length, number of stem branches and number of leaves at 42 DAP.
