Abstract

Lobak merupakan tanaman sayuran yang berasal dari jenis kubis-kubisan (Cruciferae atau Brassicaciae) yang dimanfaatkan bagian umbinya. Tanaman ini diduga berasal dari Cina, selanjutnya berkembang dan menyebar ke seluruh dunia termasuk ke Indonesia. Manfaat dari umbi lobak adalah menyembuhkan sakit batuk, demam dan pembersih darah pada tubuh manusia (Ali dan Rahayu, 2001). Permasalahan pada tingkat petani adalah penggunaan dosis yang belum sesuai dengan rekomendasi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk: 1) Mempelajari respon pertumbuhan dan produksi lobak pada pemberian 2 jenis pupuk kotoran ternak (ayam dan kambing) dan pemberian dosis. 2) Mendapatkan dosis optimal pupuk kadang ayam dan kambing untuk pertumbuhan dan hasil lobak. Hipotesis pada penelitian ini adalah pemberian dosis 10 ton.ha-1 diduga memberikan respon pertumbuhan dan hasil produksi lobak paling baik pada masing-masing jenis pupuk kandang. Penelitian dilaksanakan di kawasan UB Forest tepatnya Dusun Sumbersari, Desa Tawangargo, Kecamatan Karangploso, Kabupaten Malang dimulai bulan Desember 2018 hingga April 2019. Rancangan percobaan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok Faktorial (RAKF). Faktor 1, Macam pupuk kandang (P), terdiri: P1. Pupuk kandang ayam, P2. Pupuk kandang kambing. Faktor 2, Dosis pupuk kandang (D), terdiri: D1. 5 t.ha-1, D2. 10 t.h-1, D3. 15 t.ha-1, D4 20 t.ha-1 dan D4 25 t.ha-1. Pengamatan dilakukan secara destruktif untuk variabel pertumbuhan dan parameter hasil panen. Pengamatan pertama dimulai pada umur 2 minggu setelah tanam dan pengamatan selanjutnya dilakukan dengan interval 14 hari sekali. Pengamatan destruktif dilakukan dengan tanaman sampel sebanyak 3 tanaman dan pada pengamatan panen diambil 3 tanaman. Variabel pengamatan pertumbuhan destruktif pada tanaman lobak meliputi: panjang tanaman (cm), jumlah daun (helai), bobot basah tanaman (g), bobot kering tanaman (g), diameter umbi (cm), luas daun, laju pertumbuhan (g m-2 minggu-1). sedangkan komponen hasil meliputi panjang umbi (cm), diameter umbi (cm). Data hasil pengamatan dianalisis menggunakan analisis ragam (uji F) dengan taraf 5%. Jika hasil yang didapat berbeda nyata, maka akan dilanjutkan uji BNJ 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perlakuan jenis pupuk dan dosis pupuk kandang memiliki interaksi pada parameter luas daun. Perlakuan jenis pupuk kandang menunjukan pengaruh yang nyata terhadap parameter panjang tanaman, luas daun, bobot segar tanaman, bobot kering tanaman, laju pertumbuhan tanaman, diameter umbi dan bobot umbi pertanaman lobak. Perlakuan dosis pupuk kandang menunjukan pengaruh yang nyata terhadap parameter pengamatan pertumbuhan dan hasil pada tanaman lobak, yaitu parameter panjang tanaman, luas daun dan jumlah daun tanaman lobak.

English Abstract

Radish is a vegetable plant that comes from the type of cabbage (Cruciferae or Brassicaciae) which is used for the tubers. This plant is thought to have originated in China, then developed and spread throughout the world, including to Indonesia. The benefits of radish tubers are curing coughs, fever and blood purifier in the human body (Ali and Rahayu, 2001). The problem at the farmer level is the use of doses that are not in accordance with the recommendations. The aims of this study were to: 1) Study the response of growth and production of turnips to the application of 2 types of manure (chicken and goat) and the dosage. 2) Obtain optimal doses of chicken and goat fertilizer for radish growth and yield. The hypothesis in this study was that the administration of a dose of 10 ton.ha-1 was thought to give the best response to the growth and production of turnips for each type of manure. The study was carried out in the agroforestry area of UB Forest, precisely in the hamlet of Sumbersari, Tawangargo Village, Karangploso District, Malang Regency, starting from December 2018 to April 2019. The experimental design used was the Factorial Randomized Group Design (RAKF). Factor 1, Kinds of manure (P), consisting of: P1. Chicken manure, P2. Goat manure. Factor 2, Dosage of manure (D), consists of: D1. 5 t.ha-1, D2. 10 t.h-1, D3. 15 t.ha-1, D4 20 t.ha-1 and D4 25 t.ha-1. Observations were carried out destructively for growth variables and crop parameters. The first observation begins at the age of 2 weeks after planting and subsequent observations are carried out at 14-day intervals. Destructive observations were carried out with 3 plant samples and 6 plants were observed in harvesting. The destructive growth observation variables in turnip plants include: Leaf Length (cm), Plant leaves (strands), Wet Weight of Total Plant (g), Dry Weight of Plant Total (g) , Tuber Diameter (cm), Leaf Area, Growth Rate (g m-2 weeks-1). While the yield components include Tuber Length (cm), Tuber Diameter (cm). The results of the observational data are then analyzed using variance analysis (F test) with a level of 5%. If there are real interactions or influences, it will be followed by a BNJ test with a level of 5% to determine the difference between treatments. Furthermore, to determine the optimal level of treatment regression analysis was carried out. The results showed that the type of fertilizer treatment and the dose of manure had an interaction with leaf area parameters. The type of manure treatment showed a significant effect on the parameters of plant length, leaf area, plant fresh weight, plant dry weight, plant growth rate, tuber diameter, and tuber weight of radish planting. Treatment of manure doses showed a significant effect on the observed parameters of growth and yield of radish plants, namely the parameters of plant length, leaf area, and several leaves of radish plants.
